I simply do not like liars, not those like you who make excuses for them. Sorry if having standards upsets you so much, but I will not be leaving just to make you feel more comfortable. I gave Maviarab a way of getting out of the hole he dug himself, by being able to admit he was just mistaken. He chose not to take it, thus showing us all his lack of ethics.

And what of your lack of maturity in continuing to push a subject that has already been moved past by the majority of the members here? Honestly, I haven't even posted yet, but this is just ridiculous. Just drop the subject and move on.

I'm not shilling for them, but how come Blizzard can release WoW patches with lots of content on time, and they even have to think of game balance issues, since they're running an MMO ? Dragon Age is a single player game and a DLC gets pulled at the last minute.

Mass effect 2? i dunno that seems the most logical answer

Because it is unhealthy!

Here, have some tofu instead!

As a professional cook, I not only refuse your (godawful) tofu but I will go out and make some far more unhealthy than cake. Sweet potato cheese fries... with bacon... and ranch dressing  perhaps.  Not sure if i have any ranch left.

I have a flamethrower! Will that help?

I hate you people, now I'm hungry and there is still snow outside so I can't get me any chinese food. Now look what you've done.

Only if we have to cook meat with fire. Lemme go find a whole cow, I'll get back to  you on this.

Ferrus,

I'll have two please :)

And yes, if we 'are' to get an explanation, i would expect one soon, but thats 'if' we are to get one lol.

And for the record, for the purchase of 'points' you are correct, but that was not what the original debate started out as. And for that, I stand o what i said. Will not comment further on the matter now, I'm above the pettiness, thanks.

"It has nothing to do with high standards, your just a troll. You know more people than just Maviarab have made comments about your posts, a lot of them just being intelligible and civil about the matter. Yet I guess you find it hard to deal with stuff like that with since you have no facts to back your points."

It is not my job to provide you with schooling in EU consumer law. If you require such an education please look elsewhere. Maviarab made untruthful statements about EU consumer law, which I decided should not go unchallenged. Rather than admit he made as mistake he chose to repeat the claims. The first time could have been simple ignorance, but he does not have that excuse for the subsequent claims.

Lying is offensive, and thus he also broke the rules governing this forum, as did I. I however have acknowledged my transgression. He has not.

With regards this statement: "Simply, it's not illegal. No contract has been signed between EA and the would be customer. So there is nothing to rely on."

The law I mentioned concerned advertising, not contracts. Your point is therefore moot. If you trade in the EU then EU law requires that advertising and claims made for your services or products be honest and truthful. Bioware are still stating on the main page of the Dragon Age site that RTO will be released on the 5th. Since they know that to be untrue EU law requires that they do claim they will. It is not a biggy as far as legal infractions go, and would probably simply get a reprimand were any action to be taken. What Bioware could not do is rely on a defence that they are based in Canada.

Blizzard is far larger than Bioware and makes a crap load of money with WoW. Also, a problem could've arisen beyond Bioware's control. We just don't know.

Why is it everyone rages when stuff like this is delayed?

It's very likely that it was delayed because of a unexpected bug that cropped up before release, most likely something major that would have made the DLC unplayable(Fallout 3 The Pitt DLC anyone?) that they had to fix before release

i just think its delayed due to a massive problem....

its a time paradoxon ....

they went back to Ostagar, seen their own person fighting there in the past and BOOOOM - killed

this way will crash all the platforms the game is installed on - so they cancelled release *lol*

sure - THATS the reason why !!!!!! *rofl*

Very probably. But why not just come out and say as much ? Silence is never a very good way of communicating.
