Bioware offices...
01/04/2010
Near midnight...
<Manager> So like...we've got to get that Gold copy over to Microsoft to start the distribution. Where's it at.
<Senior Programmer> Wut?
<Manager> The gold copy. Return to Ostagar. The new DLC?
<Senior Programmer> Oh that. Yeah. Hang on a second...
Senior Programmer goes sprinting down the hallway...
<Senior Programmer> So. You have that gold copy of RtO?
<Programmer 1> Wut?
<Programmer 2> RtO? I thought you were working on that...
<Programmer 1> Me? I thought that was yours...
<Programmer 3> Wasn't Bob working on that?
<Bob> Oh **** no...you're not pinning this one on me... I've been over with the Mass Effect Team. Doing QA on alien boobage...
<Programmer 1,2 and 3> Ooooh. How's that looking?
<Senior Programmer> Guys! Guys! Focus...focus here... RtO? Where's it at?
<Programmer 1, 2 and 3> Ummm....
(Meanwhile, cut to outside of Bioware offices... A crowd is forming holding pitchforks and torches...)
<Senior Programmer> Um...boss? We have a slight problem.
<Manager> You're kidding, right? Tell me your kidding...
<Senior Programmer> Have you seen the alien boobage in Mass Effect 2 yet?
<Manager> Oooooh. Yeah...I saw a trailer...not bad...not bad...
<etc...>

It's not going to kill you if you can't play this DLC today.
It might. And then how would you feel? Delaying DLC kills puppies you know.
And the cute little Scottish Fold Kittens....

Scottish Fold Cats are cats that have a dominate defect in which their ears are folded instead of standing up straight. They are amazingly cute.

You know bioware I read message on how you all plann to do so much better in 2010 missing your holiday deadline and now missing your first deadline in 2010 is a great way to show it.I can't believe you peole can't just do your jobs as exspected and as you said you would do this is rediculas.
Product delays happen all the time in companies. It's just a fact of life. Of course they are doing their jobs. Do you honestly think they are purposefully keeping this from you just to spite you? They want to make their money just as much as you want to play their DLC.
Unexpected events are just that... unexpected. They didn't plan to release it later. Some unforseen event probably happened which was more or less out of their control, and they are obviously working to fix it.
Show some patience. It's not going to kill you if you can't play this DLC today.
Having patience is a good thing, however, at some point, patience just becomes another word for doormat.
After about 2 months since the announcement and a previous delay announcement, which was followed by several weeks of zero communication on the status (as it was not conclusive at the time if the delay would take us past Christmas). Then another release date was announced, followed by a rather flippant, last minute "delay announcement" with no further information, a lot of people's patience is worn so thin as to be transparent. I love the game, I will buy the DLC, however we are absolutely justified in feeling the way we feel.
Most people seem to be less upset about the delay than they are about the way that it is being handled and with the lack of informative communication that is being extended to us. There is no way that BioWare is unaware of how this news would be taken, yet no effort has been made to give us an update since the original flippant delay post.

I've finished the game 10 times now, pretty much waiting for the DLCs/expansions
By the time this DLC comes out I'll have played through every possible gender/origin and I'll have found every possible endings there are!
and how many ending are there?
That would qualify as a spoiler wouldn't it?
My meaning, however, is the different ways your companions can go, the end game recaps, etc.

Understandable... I guess I just have a little more patience then when it comes to this stuff. I do understand people's frustration though.
