That's where the money is, and maybe this is a problem with one of the consoles *cough* Sony *cough*. Maybe Bioware/EA have been given the memo not to release unless it's done on -all- platforms?
This.

All i have to say is this armor better be way better then all the other crap in the game!!
Heh...I can see it now...
King Cailan's Heavy Plate Mail
Armor: 23.30
Fatigue: 20.60%
+4 Strength
+4 Dexterity
-10 Constitution
Under normal circumstances, this Heavy Plate Mail, formarly worn by the adventerous King Cailan, would have a +10 to Constitution. However, since he was crushed like a cheap off-brand can of soda, it has had a reverse effect. All well, at least you got to play the DLC. CHEERS!

This is what happens when an EA comes in and demands everything be multiplatform to increase the profits.
ppl have mouths to feed. money matters. it's a gaming INDUSTRY..not gaming charity.
Then you don't state that something is to be released on a given date. You wait till all versions are ready to be released then give a date for that release. COMMON FRAKIN' SENSE!
it's their thing so they can do whatever bollocks they want with it. who knows, maybe they overlooked some stuff...maybe it's NOT THE 5TH OF JANUARY IN CANADA YET?
it's a 5$ 1 hour thing that MAYBE got pushed back a bit again...and u guys are makin it out to be Market Garden.

Oh right, by doing something else until it is released like a normal bloody person instead of spending over a month whining like a three year old.

Cue long drawn out protracted fight that I lose because my dumb ass warrior didnt notice the trap on the floor....
On a serious note, thanks for the heads up Chris, rather get it a week late than get it and it be unplayable.

Agreed.

Otherwise some people might hang around till midnight Canadian time waiting for it.
I think the Bioware staff returned to work yesterday. So they would not have been in the office very long.

I don't know. Monty said Market Garden was a 90% success. A lot of innocent virtual people are gonna suffer at Ostagar cuz of this.

I say EA should just cancel the Return to Ostagar DLC and include it as content along with their upcoming expansion this march.
That expansion pack is purely speculation as of right now.

Eh, I didn't even know that this DLC existed until say, five minutes before it was delayed. I have no reason to be upset, unlike some of you. Whatever the reason for the delay, be patient. Your content will come and we shall all rejoice. And then we will revel in our glory as things are blown up in Mass Effect 2 at the end of the month.
Well the problem is all of us knew about the end of November when it was slanted for "this holliday season" but was delayed. Then they said January 5th, and it is delayed again. I agree with you, patience is important, but you are asking people to have patience, who have been patient for a month.
My apologies to those who have been waiting. **** happens, and it would be nice if Bioware told its fanbase what would require such a delay the night before release rather than offer a sentence for an explanation. Seeing as we all have to wait anyway, why don't you take some time for yourself? Go outside, throw a barbecue or win the Superbowl? Do something productive! Huzzah!
I did actually cook some very nummy chicken today, sweet and spicy miso style. It may sound kind of gross, but it was really good. I actually surprised myself and thought, "you know what fantasy, you should come up with whacky recipes more often!"
But right now I am a little sick, and very unemployed, so as much as I want to be productive (no really, I am bored to tears here, I need a job, badly) there is just nothing productive for me to do! Besides make nummy chicken, that is.

Perhaps you should read the OP again? There's no "maybe" about it. It has been delayed. Yet again. With no reason why. Yet again.
My money is on a February release at this point. Any takers?

Yeah, I'm pretty skeptical about it too. It seems too soon considering how long it took to develop Dragon Age Origins.
I think either Bioware is keeping it under wraps in hopes of not stealing hype away from Mass Effect 2, or the whole thing is fallacious.
