Looks like it was too buggy to get those certifications that were holding it up these past couple weeks. Does not surprise me at this point though, as even the patches of patches are as buggy as an Ogre's armpits.

Put down the pot please Biodudes. It does not help with creativity as much as you think Image IPB

The voice of sanity flames again ... I'm an IT Project Manager ... delays happen because you have to deal with different people/companies/constraints/etc.

But bandwidth has no constraints ... /Sarcasm -Off.

I'm kind of cross with Bioware at the moment. Not because of the actual delay, but because of the "There's a delay of something that was supposed to be released tomorrow, but you don't even get an explanation or a tentative date". Not exactly the best way to handle things.
Come on, input Bioware, Input please.

Perhaps you should read the OP again? There's no "maybe" about it. It has been delayed. Yet again. With no reason why. Yet again.

My money is on a February release at this point. Any takers?

Febuary 23 or march 2, is my guess

Bioware is lovin the bad rep they're getting with their fail on the DLC portion of this game.

The main thing is - Why was there no reason as to why it was delayed?
That's what most of us are losing our minds about - the fact that we got a quick note saying it was delayed, and then nothing. We're not losing our minds about the DLC itself - at least, I'm fairly sure we aren't - but it's the fact that this was a rather amateurish move on Bioware's part.
In short, it's the lack of communication.

Relax, they can't just say "We got drunk, no work for us and goodies for you today" - "delayed" sounds better :D

After Mass Effect 2? I doubt it. It'll be within the next 20 days. There's a ton of people playing Dragon Age to fill a gap at the moment, and whilst that might not be everyone, when Mass Effect 2 launches Dragon Ages' active population will take a steep decline. I'm sure Bioware know that, so they'll be wanting to take advantage of pre-ME2 hype for sales.

This wont be a massive delay. A week, maybe, or even just a few days. Or! Maybe, none at all, and it's just Chris being evil. He is known for being evil.

Not everyone is going to be buying ME2. I won't be, and I highly doubt I'm the only one. If anyone had said a month ago that we wouldn't see the DLC until after the New Year I wouldn't have believed it. Now? Now I think we'll be lucky if we see it before next holiday season, which is why I say February. Valentine's day is still a holiday, and if you squint really hard and tilt your head to the left it can look like a holiday season.

Good lord, People! You're acting like this is a first! I've been gaming since the C64 era, and

multiple delays on release dates were normal. Even today, I see delays on releases more

often than not. I'll be VERY surprised if ME2 makes it's release date, pleased too, since I

pre-ordered it. :) Maybe life will be easier on you if you expect a delay EVERY time. Then

you can be pleasantly surprised whenever one makes it's date, but all this nerd rage is

kinda nutty, really.

Speculation, ****, whine, cry, moan, more speculation, more ****ing, more whining, more crying, more moaning.... You're all just going to give yourselves an ulcer, find something else more fun and productive to occupy your time.. But thanks for the entertaining thread, I enjoyed seeing so many adults acting like 10 year olds that aren't getting their way, was a great laugh! :)

If EA knows what is fiscally sound then they will release this content before Mass Effect 2 hits the shelves.

I know I for one am going to be too pre-occupied with that game to bother with any DLC from Dragon Age for a while.

Wow...just...so many trolls...

In the original thread on RTO, everyone was ticked off that BW didn't keep us updated. True, in that thread they indicated 1/5/10 for release, and that, sadly, won't happen.

But then they try to keep us informed and people are still ticked. Guys--I don't want buggy software and nor do you. Give them the week to make sure it passes certification and is fun to play. I don't like the idea of them releasing RTO only to patch it later.

Deep breath guys. Your vehement ramblings don't make things better here. But if they helped you debrief a little, so be it.

Agreed.

But come on - agree that it is fun to watch people lose their collective **** over it ...

goes to show, inbreeding = bad

And goes to show Trolls get to troll on these forums no mater what whynot go F your self, so what ppl get pissed cause EA lied again, let us be mad and vent abut it instead of getting us pissed at you as well cause of your **** coments !

i'll have you know my comments are far from ****. i didn't say much at first, only that BioWare deserves more respect than the garbage that is being tossed their way on this thread...being called liars and the like. you ppl have a very skewed view regarding deceit.

but then again i suppose i should not expect too much form frustrated peasants of your stripe who resort to failed atempts at insulting me while at the same time disgusting me with bad grammar

Maybe when they said "Two Year Of DLC!" they meant that RtO would be delayed for two years straight?

I know, this isn't the end of the world, but 2012 *is* the end of the world.

COINCIDENCE?! I THINK NOT.

honestly who really cares if it is delayed...i mean come on...it happened like 3 times for the DLC for Fallout 3 (yes i know different company), as well as a few others (cant think of them off the top of my head), and despite all the online ****ing & moaning people still bought it (including me)...as long as Bioware delivers on the DLC that is announced then let them take their time to clean out the bugs and glitches to deliver us a nice clean DLC to play with......so quite your ****ing and wait...

All of you people saying

"can't you wait!?"

Well...yes, I can. It's just that I would rather not wait. My job is boring enough as it is and I want more content to play while I pretend to work behind my boss's back.
