Can Chris confirm or deny if the delay had anything at all to do with a Gypsy curse?

Ok folks get back on topic.

We gave everyone a chance to vent, but keep this topic on the subject of Return to Ostagar or this will get closed until we have more information.

This topic is still too hot to close peacefully I hope you realize that and I am NOT talking about myself but the other hundreds of pissed off fans and more are finding out every minute. You'll just end up with a bunch of new threads to close every minute as those that barely find out about the info will want to say their 2 cents.

So how about that WHEN exactly did BioWare pick up on this last issue to fix? Before or after it went into certification?

Cant get back on topic if we were never on topic, my good man.

HUUM? You can't have much of a topic to vent on when you don't know why your venting?
Look cut the ****, and just be honest with your fan base tell us what the **** is going on and stop dicking with us, I mean really is that too much to ask for?

Aight to get this choo choo back on track. What are everyone's predictions for the release and/or the error that may have come up? I for one think that it was a missing piece of code, maybe in the way of Fallout 3's Pitt DLC that caused the Red errors to procreate like bunnies. I'm hoping on either a Thursday or Tuesday release within the next week. Ideas?

Any ETA would be appreciated, between this and the Miranda video(which still isn't out sadly) I'm wondering what's going on over at Bioware. I'm also abrasive about looking for Awakening since that may fall under this tent of "when it's fixed"

The only topic we can debate is the problem that caused the delay.

I kind of thought we where on topic, you are giving us customers vague information on the problems with RTO and when it will be released. So instead of making this 150+ pages of calling you foul names and how pissed we are at this lack of customer support, we are passing the time with ideal chatter until we get more information

You know this will just go on in another thread that also is about Return of Ostagar being delayed. What I'd like to know is why the day has passed this far and no real information has been revealed yet about the status of this DLC apart from "not coming out today."

I know what the issue was, they suddenly realised that it would be a bit silly that Ostagar was the only place covered in snow (apart from frostback mountains which would understandably have snow) and so they had to abandon the idea and are now busy changing everything back to greenfields... or muddy fields where people once lay down

I hope that RtO can be out before the week-end, but next week would do too. I'm currently doing my second and a half playthrough (I've a Dalish Rogue somewhere in the Brecilian Forest) with a Human Noble, and I would like to complete the Arl of Redcliffe quest-line before heading back to Ostagar. Anyway, the thing I'm really curious about is "Cailan's secret agenda" - I can't wait to read it!

A question: it was David Gaider who wrote this DLC, right? Since he's the lead writer, I hope that a thing so sensitive as "Cailan's hidden political agenda" was written by him.

Easy way to know when the next leap year is: Its always the same year as a Presidential Election and the Summer Olympics.

You want a reason it got delayed? Here it is, Bioware is secretly run off the tears of gamers.

Hi Chris!

Just to get back on topic: do you have any ETA for RtO?

Not yet. Since many people have (rightly imo) called us out for promising 2 release dates and missing them we are going to make sure of the date before we issue it again. As soon as we are sure, we will let you know, but I havew no eta of when this will be.
