Caution is the best policy. Better to be silent on a release date than to get it wrong three times. However, I question whether it is wise to give an ETA on the expansion given these hiccups your crew have been encountering.
Additionally, is Mass Effect 2 still slated for the 26th? Or should we take that date with a healthy pinch of salt as well?
I believe Mass Effect 2 is being developed in Bioware's Alberta, Canada branch, whereas Dragon Age and associated DLC is a product of Bioware's Austin, Texas branch.. With that in mind, I wouldn't expect any shared issues with content release dates.

I think this is console problem and Bioware wants to have a cross platform release. What do you guys think? Console issue or major cross platform bug?
Gotta be a console thing. If there were problems with the PC version, a patch or fix could be out in a matter of hours.

Not yet. Since many people have (rightly imo) called us out for promising 2 release dates and missing them we are going to make sure of the date before we issue it again. As soon as we are sure, we will let you know, but I havew no eta of when this will be.
Can you clarify how or if the RtO delay affects the 360 title update? Pretty please?

ehh, it's not the world-shattering crisis that many have called it out to be. . . sure i'm disappointed (this morning felt like christmas day all over again until I turned on my xbox), but a wee delay isn't worth hating the dev. and renouncing all love for their products. . . it's just part of business. get over it and wait. . .

That's something of a relief. Not quite so easy to go through the process of shipping physical copies to retailers, only to do a u-turn on the release date.

Mr Woo any chance of looking at the topic I linkied a page or two back, I think that might solve some of the issues with the pointless/childish bickering

Game is cursed. At this rate, the expansion pack will be out before RtO. Or maybe they'll just include it in their "pre-orders" haha. Although I have no illusions that the expansion will actually make it out in March. I do however find it strangely coincidental that hours before RtO was set to be released, they delay it, then announce an expansion. Nothing like trying to divert attention from the inability to meet deadlines and goals. So how about we all just hope for RtO in March, and the expansion sometime in May, cause that's probably what's going to happen.
I really hope you're wrong, b/c its bad enough that they FAILED to meet their deadline then attempted to distract us like fools with the announcement of Awakening & finally treated us like child by not giving us any information as to why the DLC was delayed when we've been supporting them & buying games for years now, most of us. I can't even tell you how disappointed I would be if they failed to meet that March 16th deadline after announcing it this far ahead.
I feel your pain though. I mean for the love of god I own the Collectors Edition & the 360 verion I've had rented out for ever, i own 2 shirts, both books, shirts for my avatar on xbox live, & all the DLC but they can't even simply give us, THE FANS..the REASON they are so successful a real reason for the delay.
