May I request that when Bioware people update threads like this, that they do the updates in the first post? Trying to find a bioware post amidst the chaos of hundreds of pages is frustrating at best.



Just update the first post, and let the ensuing chaos...well...ensue.

That should totally be an option, along with the My Little Pony version of our Companions mentioned elsewhere.

Maybe not at the same time though.

The topic is "The DLC is delayed." Theres nothing to discuss about that since they wont give us any more info than that. If they would like us to stay on topic, they should provide us with one.

Could the delay possibly have something to do with "Awakenings" coming out? That seems like something EA would do...delay the 5$ DLC, with no info what-so-ever on a release date, release the $40.00 DLC on the 5th instead...only thing is, we're going to buy both regardless. I dunno, I always figure conspiracy theory in things like this. Everyone always trying to get over on everyone else.

I'm the same, my first thought was "Lord I hope they aren't delaying it to come out at the same time as ME2". All we can do is wait and give them the benefit of the doubt.

Thanks for letting me know, i suspected that there would be nothing insightful but at least this hot thread grabbed there attention. I met some good folks, as for what caused the delay i do not know i just hope to have RTO on my hard drive pretty soon

Likewise I wanna finally finish the story, lol. I haven't beaten the game once... mainly cause I lost interest when I noticed there was DLC coming out...Oh well.

On topic - I think they should keep the price at $5. That way they can still make money, we get our DLC, and then next time, they just have to be better at information relay.

If you exit the thread to the General Discussion forum and click the blue BIOWARE button below the thread title you'll only see Bioware posts.

Ah, how disappointing to have Ostagar delayed once again. But as long as it is for a quality release I don't mind. Also the announcement of Dragon Age Origins - Awakening was a very nice surprise!

I agree now that bioware are posting id like to know whats going on with the delay, we will not find out with a closed thread people.

You're going to get answers as soon as they're available anyway, regardless of whether or not this thread is open. I wouldn't hold your breath though, doesn't look like news is going to come today. I'd probably be pulling my hair out if I was Chris Priestly. Imagine being in his shoes, last night, on his way out the door:

"Hey Chris, by the way, I just wanted to let you know that Return to Ostagar isn't going to be coming out tomorrow. You should let the community know before you go home just so that they don't say you didn't warn them. That's all Chris, have a pleasant evening."
