well, we know why rto's delayed, ea rko's thier workforce, and now they dont have the hands needed to push product

would honestly like to see the blizzard/activision machine buy up ea and lay these colon-jockies off. least we wouldnt have a carrot on a stick dangled in front of us every week.

God no are you insane! if blizzard takes over there will only be updates during blizzcon have you seen how diablo 3 is going.

Atleast blizzard gets their @#$% done when they say they will. And you know what? They do it right, and have excellent customer service.

They do take their time! And I was at blizzcon and it was awesome and Blizz's motto is for any game they make and release is "when its done" they usualy don't do release dates!! 

They do not do updates either. There's been a huge drought of diablo 3 updates.

It could be worse - it could be published by Atari - then they'd tell us to expect an update and never deliver one... Patience people! If it has been delayed, it is for a reason - maybe a voice actor got sick and couldn't get some lines out in time, or maybe they found a nasty bug while playtesting that eats babies and spits out swooping barbarians and darkspawn... I swear, this whole thread has it's own sense of pathetic-ness (I make it up as I go along) in the sense that we are so used to instant gratification, there's so much whining when we don't get it... Think back 100 years ago - if a manufacturer shipping from Europe to North America missed a ship to bring us our product, we would have to wait until the next one set sail! Patience.. What's the matter with kids today!

I disagree that Blizzard gets stuff done when they say they will...  There were significant delays with the release of the original WoW game, and with the first expansion. Not to mention the fact that for the first 3 years or so of the game there were many bugs that had to be ironed out.

What Blizzard does right is allow for massive player testing of almost all new content before it is released, meaning that a minimal number of bugs make it live. They clearly started doing this, and in fact promoting it to all players, because they felt the need to conduct the testing as thoroughly as possible.

They do also have very good customer service as software companies go, but that's not really saying much.
