Can you clarify how or if the RtO delay affects the 360 title update? Pretty please?
JabberJaww wrote...
Chris, is it the same issue that caused the first delay?

Carn Dum wrote...
Was it really wise then to already
announce the exact release date for the new expansion? How serious
should I take that? I'd rather you gave us a vague approximation rather
than an exact release date that will be pushed back again at the latest
moment...
RageGT wrote...
What about the Italian game site that
said it will be tomorrow, jan 6? Does La Cosa Nostra know their zhit or
not? Did they threat you into saying tomorrow? Will we ever get it?
SkaTeeB wrote...
Why have they delayed the console patch along with the DLC they can't seem to get correct? Did that get messed up too?

RurouniSaiya-jin wrote...
Unless the bug has nothing to
do with the DLC content itself and instead has something to do with
maybe how other things interact with the DLC, I'm pretty sure a new
build is in order.
Not a question, but brings one up. Is a new build going to be required and will that further delay everything?
Indriju wrote...
Could the delay possibly have something to do with "Awakenings" coming out?

spiderfarmer wrote...
May I request that when Bioware people update threads like this, that they do the updates in the first post?

Sir Ulrich Von Lichenstien wrote...
Will the expansion
open up any 'out of area' style events? akin to wardens keep and stone
prisoner other than the obvious meetup in the bannorn that we already
know about?

shaork wrote...
so is it possible the release date for
the expansion is the new release date for this and we have to wait til
the holiday season next year for the expansion?
Because I'm sure my posts will knock this one back into the depths of the thread.
Fallix6969 wrote...
Just tell us what the situation is
please. This very unprofessional conduct by what is supposed to be a
Brp650 wrote...
So what happens to those who bought
points for this DLC? we just have to stand by and hope it is released
sooner rather than later?

xCobalt wrote...
Why does the patch have to be delayed
along with the dlc? I'm sure this question will be ignored and replaced
by all this spam...

Arkrend wrote...
So whats going on here is RTO being released with the awakening?if so that really blows.

Sneaky Monkey wrote...
Is it still considered the holiday season? Maybe it should be changed to "Coming Soon"?
And there you have it. All the actual questions in the last 18 pages. So Chris, mods, somebody, how about taking notes and seeing about getting any of those questions answered? Any answers at all would be preferable to the silent treatment we've been getting.

I see alot of complaining babies. I mean come on you want em to release crap or do you want a bug fixed they found? I mean i would rather sit by and wait patiently for a possible bug fix than them to release crap. Wish everyone who is complaining would grow up. Tah Tah.
The point is that if they've scheduled a release date, there shouldn't be any bugs like that left. They should have checked it thoroughly to the point that it was deemed fit for release. I don't know how professionals could find a massive bug in something they created that late. I suppose it's possible. I just wanted to believe Bioware was better than that.
Also, your abrasiveness does you no credit. Everyone's disappointed. They are going to express it.

And when they say the DLC is delayed, so be it. I can wait... for I know it will be worth waiting for it.
And maybe it was wrong to announce prematurely a releasedate for it, but you never know what problems came up in the end.
Bioware has a name to keep up and I don't think they do all this just to annoy the community.

Nope, not in the couple hours or so since Chris last said that there was no ETA yet, and that when we had information to share, we would.
I guess tomorrow then is still the best date

The poor development team is probably mainlining Bawls to get the DLC back on track! Hey, if everybody sent them ThinkGeek gift certificates, do you think we'd get more DLC, faster?

So it could easily be anytime from tomorrow to sometime next week that there's more information to share?

Thats it, end of story, they ****ed up so we have the right to complain.
You do know that devs have no say in what somebody posts on a site for release dates. Devs usually do not come to these forums unless they want a laugh. They have differant people who are assigned to come her and do work. But regardless devs are not the ones who post release dates. They give an estimated then someone else throws down a date like this. The devs probably told them estimated holiday season and the guy at the bottom end of the totem pole decided to stick his head in his ass and pull a date out then that was typed out on the web design. Get over it already. Its delayed go get a life if your this bummed out about a little delay.

It could be worse - it could be published by Atari - then they'd tell us to expect an update and never deliver one... Patience people! If it has been delayed, it is for a reason - maybe a voice actor got sick and couldn't get some lines out in time, or maybe they found a nasty bug while playtesting that eats babies and spits out swooping barbarians and darkspawn... I swear, this whole thread has it's own sense of pathetic-ness (I make it up as I go along) in the sense that we are so used to instant gratification, there's so much whining when we don't get it... Think back 100 years ago - if a manufacturer shipping from Europe to North America missed a ship to bring us our product, we would have to wait until the next one set sail! Patience.. What's the matter with kids today!
Which they found at the last freaking minute?
Isn't testing supposed to be done like weeks in advance? At least days. No my guess is licensing or something for consoles.
