Question to all QQ-bears: If you're at the ice cream bar, where the creation of your favorite-flavored ice cream takes an average 1 minute, and it takes them 10 seconds longer to produce it... would you cry as hard for that as for this issue..?

Remind: A program is something which takes months to produce... so what's the loss of 24 or even 48 hours? In such a process quality goes for quantity...

Or do you like a tasteless bunch of ice cream..?
Except it's been a month, that's a whole lot longer than seconds, minutes, days.

Thats it, end of story, they ****ed up so we have the right to complain.
You do know that devs have no say in what somebody posts on a site for release dates. Devs usually do not come to these forums unless they want a laugh. They have differant people who are assigned to come her and do work. But regardless devs are not the ones who post release dates. They give an estimated then someone else throws down a date like this. The devs probably told them estimated holiday season and the guy at the bottom end of the totem pole decided to stick his head in his ass and pull a date out then that was typed out on the web design. Get over it already. Its delayed go get a life if your this bummed out about a little delay.
January 5th is not the "holiday season". If they'd truly had no idea then something just as vague would have been likely to remain. Also, if you really don't care about this, then why are you continuing to post in a forum regarding the issue?

They picked a release date, they didn't keep it, and they delayed it THE NIGHT BEFORE. Ive seen dleays before, but twice and on such short notice? You're a tool, and probably a bioware fanboy. They ****ed up big time with this one, if you don't want to see complaints from FANS who are dissapointed, then go away.Irovagh wrote...

Ahah in some nations (like Italy) the "holiday season" traditionally ends on the epiphany, january the 6th

Wow really? Did you just tell him to get a life. What gives you the right to bash him for being disappointed in a very respected Dev about a DLC he was anticipating greatly. We all love this game, many of us have spent dozens of hours playing & plan to keep going. Many people have already spent money on the points or ddelayed a current gamee session just for this so I'm pretty sure after spending their hard earned money they have the right to be upset. As long as they follow the forum guidelines there is nothing wrong with people venting.
Some people have different passions, like gaming instead of painting, hiking..they emmerse themselves in a new world. Others may have taken off work they love the game so much...one poster even said he was injuried & walking wasn't on his to od list for a while so he was excited for this.
Who are you to judge people for being disappointed b/c a promise of a release date was broken.
You know for a fact who made the release date? how it was created? why?
No you do NOT, it is all speculation, so why don't you watch your tone & respect your fellow gamers.
We all have the right to be upset b/c we've all put money into this developer.

Oh! Well, the website has reverted the release date back to "the holiday season", so maybe it will come out tomorrow after all!

Is the cause for delay related to the DLC itself, or to the patch/title update for one or more versions of the game that was supposed to accompany it?
And if the answer to the above question is the DLC and not the patch/title update, will the patch/title update still be appearing separately shortly, or will that not appear until the DLC issue is fixed?

While i would agree with you on the bug fixing I must say this is bad marketing. 1st they said RTO would be out during the holidays & in their defence that's a long period. Saying that the RTO would be released during the holidays for most would translate to the 2 weeks that school is out IMHO but then they gave us a date, 1-5-2010.
As a long time gamer I've grown used todelays as are most of us I think. As a long time WoW player, I'm used to long waits before new content & I know many of us playing this game are WoW players. But ppl get upset when the creaters/producers of a game give release dates then delay them days before release. I THINK it's defferent in the eyes of most gamers when it's a game being delayed monthes before release but when it's days, it's defferent & ppl have the right to complain.
I'm sorry, pushing this back days before release is bad marketing & not good for Bioware's games.
