So your long supportive fans really have to be treated like children when the bills are getting our of hand? We can't know the reason for the delay or is it just hard to find in all 170 pages! lol. Was it really b/c Bioware felt the DLC was too short? B/c $5=hour of gameplay would make me one happy gamer
We like to treat our community like mature human beings capable of complex reasoning, civil discussion, and independent thought, no matter how they might appear otherwise when ranting and whinging and carrying on.
Chris Priestly has already given you some information, and some clarification. He has also mentioned there is no ETA on a release date or further information yet. The "reason for the delay" you keep harping on has already been given to you. No, it's nothing specific, but the specifics do not affect you. Whether it's bugs, scheduling, a mandate from higher up, a clumsy intern, my iced tea habit, or aliens, the product is still affected and we're dealing with it so that you can have the product you've been looking forward to.
Certain folks within the community believe that, unless we cater to your every whim and always do things you agree with, we are not being open and honest and that we are unprofessional, rude, or worse. If the community can disabuse itself of that belief, maybe we can have better and more informative discussions? And showing more patience than a child also helps if you don't want to be seen as one. I'm just saying, is all.

People aka paying customers also would like details regarding why the product is delayed again at the last hour.
Instead we got "its delayed agaian see you later"
then 24 hours later we get the "there was a problem so we pulled it" well no kidding?
so when it was announced 24 hours ago that there was going to be a delay the team in charge of letting us know whats going on didnt know there was a "little problem"? or couldnt take the extra 5 seconds to say as such?
I dont mind the delay, delay it and fix it till your heart is content, the lack of information is whats troubling

And for defense of myself. If your a gamer and you took off for a 5 hour DLC then you must really have a crap job. As for the one person who can barely walk who was looking forward to playing this today... I am sorry. Try not being able to walk the majority of your life cause a war injury. As a gamer you should come to expect delays in patches and content. Disapointments are what we live with. Bioware is still a great company and has the best games out there. Try to live with some the crap SOE has did to some of their customer base. Then you'll have a greater expectation for other companys.
I also already paid for the BW Points. and have been waiting but when there is a bug you have to cope. And As a disabled veteran I have alot of gaming time. I am sure I have just as many if not more hours playing DAO than most of you out there. You can check my Xfire profile if you don't believe me. Xfire = mandalor688

As an adult, i like to know the reasons behind things. Like i said earlier it is not a matter of national security to know the exact cause of a twice delayed 1 hour long DLC.
The only way we got any attention is to carry on like fools.

So let's say that there is such a problem(s) that would drastically reduce the enjoyment of content leading to unhappy customers. Alternative is to delay until is fully tested and ready , leading again to unhappy players that are waiting for it.
As an analogy think about going to your favorite restaurant order your favorite dish and because of some problem in the kitchen your order has been delayed from the estimated time the gave you.
Would you prefer to have it half cooked or wait a bit longer and enjoy it the way the master chef ment it to be?
As i said ealier i would preferred to have it at the deadline they specified, but is not the end of the world a day or a week later does not make too much difference. What i suggest is that instead of getting fustrated about a deadline that was not kept why not see it like "Hey those guys love DAO, they are really trying to make it worth the points/money i will spend, they do not want to serve me something and then say 'ahahaha i got your money sucker' " (For those that have tried Connan online after level 20

Why is it so troubling? They probably discovered a bug or something and need some time to fix it. Sounds good to me, I was looking forward to today but whatever take your time and get it right Bioware.
Some of you people need to relax this is hardly a big deal who cares? We will be enjoying the DLC sooner or later.

And now back to your scheduled DLC RAEG.
I'll post this again for good measure.
well.....i deserve a killians or a damned medal for making it past the intro. managed a paragraph before including intro before i had to turn away......
for the record kids, hot topic is not goth, or punk, it's mainstream glam. and emo is an extreamlely watered down version of goth. be original, play golf, wear shorts, polos, get sunlight, laugh a little.

While I will never discount the amount of rudeness i'm by now used to see every time there's a delay in the gaming market, If I may, I would say that, while no set in stone ETA is understandable, letting us know if the delay is a matter of hours, days, weeks or months would definitely help make many feel better.
I hope you understand that "there's a delay, there's no ETA, sorry" leaves people a tad wanting
