Nicely said wikkedjoker and jennamarae. I did not pre-order it myself. But, at this point, considering delays and such, they will get their money when they get thier money. As i will get my DLC when i get my DLC.

Why preorder it anyway? Its not even a stand alone expansion and you can save yourself from grief if Biowared decide to cancel the launch a few hours before going live.

If our points earned interest... i would be very happy about the delay...

i would happily let my funds sit in EA's coffers if they increased in value more than a CD...

This way the longer they sit on the content, the less EA will make on it. makes sense to me.



(still it would be nice to get the armor/exp/etc. for my next run through the game)

Why are people blaming Chris? He's the "Community Coordinator", you want a "DLC Developer". Chris has nothing to do with it not being done on time, well not unless he makes a habit of distracting the dev's or starting water-balloon fights in the server room or something, it's just his job to give news be it good or bad.

I don't care how long RtO takes. I think, what I am most concerned about, is the color of the freaking Dog, of ALL things. Lol...I want a black one! I will find a good kaddis that is red, too, and put it on him. So he looks like the ones at Ostagar! Personally, I can wait a few days. Or more. I like my money in my pocket, anyhow. No matter how little is going out of it.



Plus, I want quality content. QUALITY. Not some crap, bug filled stuff that they decided to release to the masses to please them on the release date...That would just be silly. So, while I am not happy about the delay, I understand quite well, I see it is required and will benefit us in the end.

I'm not bothered by the delay, but rather by the fact that they went back in and covered their tracks by deleting the earlier news item posting the release date as January 5th and never bothered to post any news indicating a delay (except on the forums, here). Infuriating when a company tries to 1984 everyone and revise earlier information as it suits them. I understand you don't want to leave something around that gives the wrong release date, but post an addendum rather than throwing out the expansion news and hoping no one will notice the DLC delay. Smells like Blizzard.

I'll be a happy gorilla if that happens. Too bad the evil arts wouldn't transform into a bank overnight to let your points earn interest points.

What's the latest with the DLC RTO? Has anyone heard anything new? I noticed a new countdown timer at greywardens.com indicating it is being released tommorow....
PS.  Where's Del/Ashley?  I need some mellons to squeeze!

I'll admit it's been rather amusing, but also a good example of why Bioware refuses

to give any ETA on RtO. Gad, it's almost long than the original thread.

Chris Priestly growls dramaticly "His power level is over 9000!" and crushes a darkspawn emissary.

He-bann destroys the Archdemon Chris with a mega, super ultra, ninja power known as a "spirit bomb" and returns to ferelden a hero after wiping out all Darkspawn from the face of Thedas.....

I understand your point, but its worth realising that the 5th of January date on the website was confusing people a lot. I can understand why they removed it. Had they left the newspost up even with an addenda, chances are people would still manage to not see the addenda and log into the forums and **** about RtO not working for them.

Aint that the truth its ridiculous that they did that it would of been so much easier if they kindly told us whats going on and not be all sketchy about it and take the stuff off and act like it was never there and then not tell us a dam thing

Precisely the reason why I will not be pre-ordering Awakening.

Its not that I have a problem pre-ordering it, I mean I have the money now might as well use it.

What’s starting to bother me is the Adman’s posting about being mature and staying on topic.

Saying things like, we prefer treating you like Adults, okay, than have an adult discussion with us Oh-Gods-of-the-Realm, stop acting like children that, broke the family vase, and fess us to what you messed up on. OR preferably WHO messed up, was it you, was it M$of, was it the Archdemon, you know he never writes, it’s a tad distressing.

That explains why I could not find it. I thought it had to do with encountering server errors everytime I try to log into the EA bioware servers in game. Really, what's up with that?
