Or perhaps it just means that I'll have very few trainwrecks, and indeed have had very few trainwrecks. Expecting the worst from people means I can only be surprised by good things. For me, however, it means I can only be disappointed once by anyone, businesses included. Putting aside the complete lack of probability that a death would cause them to delay releasing something, would I be sad for their death? Yes. Would it change my opinion that they should provide a reason for the delay in a timely manner (timely meaning not waiting until a few hours before launch day)? No.Things come up. The measure of your worth as a person is how willing you are to be nice about it.
I'd say that honor and keeping your word is worth more than how nice you are. I can be nice and lie through my teeth, or I can be honest, keep to my word, and not always be the nicest person in the world. By your statement, my worth is higher if I lie through my teeth so long as I'm nice. By my measuring I'm worth more for keeping my word and being honorable. At any rate I'd say over a months worth of being patient and nice means my worth is quite high. Especially considering I'm still being nice.

Depends on the PC. Some "gaming" PC's aren't worth the boxes they come in.
