Had my Credit card in hand ready to buy Return to Ostagar and when it wasn't up at midnight I got on here to find out it's been delayed and scanning through the pages I have not seen when it has been delayed to.. Does anyone know?

Not yet. :(

At least you didn't pay for it yet. I made the mistake of trusting the original release date and bought the points already LOL.

Won't make THAT mistake again!

What do you think the odds are of us getting a reason for the delay at some point in the next 24 hours?

I seriously doubt the delay is only a few hours.  Expect it to take a few days, or even a week

I hope we get another update soon. Might be worth having a locked sticky thread for updates without discussion so people don't have to read about being double teaganed to find out whats happening.

I live in Australia and I have absolutely no direct line of contact with anyone at Bioware or EA.

However, I've been involved in this community for like 9 years now, so I can speak based on past experiences.

Bioware are most likely going to wait until they have something concrete to say... it might be in the next 24 hours, but it might not be. When there are a lot of stakeholders involved, it can be difficult to get things worked out.

I know that they would like to be telling us everything, but they are following a principle of careful and concrete communications about this now it seems.

That's a fine topic of conversation for this thread. I am trying to let that topic and others like it be discussed here without getting flooded by ... other things...

Do you really think after two huge BLOWUPS regarding this, poor ole' one hour DLC they would be stupid enough to post yet another date?  Yeah, they just might, considering they canceled the Jan 5th after posting it in the Main Page News, with screen shots and a video even, and than didn't cancel till the end of their work day as they beat it out the back door, as some one else coined earlier..................  Another date, yeah just wait and see........................

MY Guess:  RTO will be released on Feb 14th, 2010

We aren't asking for 'everything'. We simply want a simple explanation as to what the problem is. They have to have a reason, beyond someone having realized that their horoscope wasn't compatible with the release date, else they would have released it.

It's not too much to ask, given that this is now going on at least the 3rd 'revised' release date.

Gunny[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie] at this point.[quote]But why on earth was it delayed? Shouldn't it be finished before they set a date for release?

^ What he said. There has to be a reason for a last minute pull of the DLC, and we've been beyond patient with all the delays, stall tactics, and silences.

Well it is an ad on to a game and there might be some conflicts with new items and the other stuff it lets us get..

Who knows for sure maybe it is due to something simple like (if it was back in the old days) a 0 being put where a one should be lol

They gave no new release for it. they just crushed our dreams on the eve of the supposed release of it and gave no real reason for it except that Rob bartel takes all responsability for the delay. It's really pathetic of bioware to do this I was looking forward to playing this new DLC today. People will say that they are probably working out more bugs and the wait will be worth it. Thats just wishful thinking at this point after the first delay of this DLC they should have made sure everything was fine before announcing a new release date.
