In addition Chris Priestly looks pleased with himself with his devil head smiley in announcing the delay.
He has always used that "Evil" smiley face at the end of his posts, for many, many years now.

You know Osiris I hadn't paid much mind to the devil head smiley until you mentioned it, It just screams plain cheeky and disrespectful.
K mod heres your chance remove the smiley plox from Chris's Post plox

Its hardly as if Bioware is out to trick anyone. Its better for them if they can get it out in time. Strange that it happends on releaseday without explination though,. Makes me think something must have happened last minute.

Didn't think it'd happen, but I've finally lost interest. I've tried to remain optimistic, but if there's going to be yet another last minute round of "It's delayed, but we won't say for how long or why", I don't feel like taking part in it. SEVENTY-SEVEN pages in 10 hours??
I don't mind when a game has unforeseen hiccups and needs some tweaking, I wouldn't even mind THIS situation, if it weren't for the fact that we've seen such a lack of communication. The original post for this topic is just another example, post something as inflammatory as this about a product that we've all been looking forward to for a month and a half, having already been put off once because of the holidays. The post was made late yesterday, so there was never going to be any additional information given to their customers before we'd had to sit and speculate all night about why. Very poor customer relations.
I may check back later today and see if this was a false alarm, but I won't hold my breath.
I hope RtO is all everyone has been hoping for, and I hope that anyone who chooses to go ahead and purchase it enjoys it. However, I've decided to turn my attention to other things.

This ruined my day and my opinion of BioWare.. well, somewhat.
How can a huge developer make the mistake of delaying this 1 day before release and in such a blunt, unsympathetic manner. Looks like the community isn't too upset, but I'm disappointed. Not angry.. disappointed in BioWare. I'll get over it, but this was ultra "noob developer" of you guys.

The smiley may indeed look unappropriate for people who almost never read the forum, and just check for official news. So in that aspect, yes it maybe was not a good idea
For all the other regular forum users, it's just kinda the usual Chris Priestly's personal signature and nothing to deserve a particular intention on the message.

You people need to learn some patients. Apparently, all/a majority of you haven't played WoW. You think this is bad? It's just another walk in the park for me.

Well I am looking forward to this DLC, I am just hoping it wont be two delays followed by a 20 minute long disappointment contributing next to nothing to the game. Take your time, but make it count.

Well it seems there will be no reason for me to buy this then. ME2 is near and I will not start a new DAO game just to try one small DLC. Sorry Bioware, but you screwed this up :-(

ah, too bad...do got more time for fixin my dlc authorization though...I do hope however that there won't be any big problems on the later release date...., it's probably also a server thing, looking at these pages it is safe to assume it's gonna overload or something like that...

maybe it would be better if you'd stop making DLC and concentrate your energy on full-scale expansion set(s)
