We're not doing it because our DLC has been delayed again, it's because BioWare are not giving information. [...] The main reason for all the complaining is no communication from BioWare. We've had no reason for the delay, we've (as far as I can tell) no date for release.
Ahh, someone who actually understands the complaint here. So nice to see amidst the "Be patient" (when we've been patient since November when they announced it) and they're just fixing bugs posts (when that should have been done well before the release date).

This is cool, the way it all went down...
I'm gonna call my work one hour before I'm supposed to be there and tell them that I'm going to be delayed. I won't tell them why, or for how long... I'll just say: "hey boss, I know I'm supposed to be there at 8 o'clock, but I'm going to be late. see ya. *click*,
We're Bioware's boss now? I like the sound of that lol.
Damn straight we are. Who do you think pays them?
Except we don't employ them. They let themselves be employed, and we're the ones that cry and moan when they're not "working". They still own us. lol

The fact of the matter is that they wouldn't exist today if it wasn't for us. WE are the ones they're working for.

But you can't actually say we're their employers because they have no reason to work for us, and we're the ones who are miserable if they don't....
Hey you started it by saying we're their boss....semantics....

But for the love of God, how long does it take to release one hour (at MOST!) of extra content? This DLC was announced ages ago, and yet this what? The third time a release window will have come and gone?
What issue could possibly keep cropping up, to cause these delays?

....
-wipes face-
Right then, lets get on with it shall we.
The delay, is a minor thing. A disapointment, indeed. However, I can say I am looking forward to it, even if I have to wait a little bit longer for RtO.
Of course, I find it extremely ironic, that this delay comes not only on the day RtO was to be made available for download, but also on the day they announced the expansion.
As a PS3 user, I expect I will be made to wait longer then the rest of you. And for you PC users, put a cork in it and go install some mods. You have that option you know.
I on the other hand do not, I would think those of us who play on a 360 and PS3 would feel the most butt hurt over delays in DLCs and expansions
Speaking of DAO:Awakening, I look forward to it. And I do hope my favorite sexy mage returns. She makes playing as a male so worth it, just to hear her say "Your Desire?" -shivers delightfully-
My only question is how they are going to work it in if you did not take the...deal...she offered before the final battle. I suggested once that it is possible that some good spirit decided to save you. And perhaps you shall be made to battle demons in the fade in order to save your soul. Or perhaps Bioware will simply make it so if you choose to make that sacrifice, you must start a new origin. Who knows.
Still, I see little point in belittling Bioware over a delay such as it. Yes, it is must frustraighting. But I say when it comes to games, indeed, most things in life, quality over speed is prudent.
Or do you all disagree?

Yes, there is some plebe laughing his ass off that we are blowing up the boards tonight. It comforts me to know that I am such a respected BioWare customer. Oh, and Torias, if you want to say he's had that smiley forever, I don't care, it still wasn't appropriate so don't think about addressing me.

I'm sure that whatever the reason for the delay is, it's a good reason. Patience is a virtue!
