Dragon Age: Awakening was spotted on online retailers by Eurogamer over the festive break, but listings have since been pulled. They offered brief details on the expansion, revealing it would introduce an all new character who would come complete with their own prologue and around 15 hours of play. Awakening was listed as a March 19 release for the PC, with Kotaku spotting similar details for an Xbox 360 version – although no details on a PS3 version have been spotted to date.
Dragon Age: Origins was one of the highlights of 2009, a return to BioWare's high fantasy past and a fitting addition to the catalogue of one of the most talented RPG creators. In short, then, 9.2.
No details for PS 3 ? WTF
Well the PS 3 Hardwar is a lil bit complicated...nothing new, but
why releasing Games, until they havent got the skills to write the
correct working code ?

People here act as if they're doing it on purpose just to spite players of the game, every game has bugs and at least they'd rather fix things so everyone can enjoy the experience of the new DLC, rather than 5000 whine threads "Omg this DLC sucks I will never buy Bioware stuff again"
It's bad business to miss your own deadlines. There is no excuse. Resources could have been allocated to make this happen today, period. This is outright lack of effort, and ridiculous. Do you honestly think that with the sum of BioWare's staff, this project could not be completed in an afternoon? It absolutely could have, if they pulled a few people off of other projects. It's not like there's ONE GUY at BioWare who knows how to create a DLC. Amateurs are doing it with the DAO Toolkit. These are professional developers? No, I don't accept that excuse again. It was thrown around in the old forum also and it's just not going to fly. Somebody in that office lacks ass kicking shoes. Therefore, the inmates are running the asylum.

UK, January 4, 2010 - BioWare's RPG spectacular Dragon Age: Origins could be in line for a fittingly epic expansion with retailers leaking details of Awakening, a retail pack that's been listed for PC and Xbox 360.

The PS3 has a much longer and more expensive authorisation process. It's been stated by BioWare themselves that PS3 releases are later due to this.

Sure it sucks to have to wait a while longer but Bioware has never put out anything that wasn't worth waiting for in the long run.
Not true, the last DLC for Mass Effect was total rubbish and was released some time after Mass Effect and Bringing Down the Sky (which was pretty mediocre as well).

jesus guys, sure a statement will come when they are actually up and awake, you knw, they do need to sleep as well....as for that, Torias (mod) said it would be later today most likely as there isnt anyone in the office in all probability.
I would like an explanation too...but at least they told us the day before it would not be here, now we just need to wait till they hit the office to tlel us whats happening.
Yes an explanation would be great, but seriously don't expect it in the middle of the night.

Hallow Words. Information with the hard-core fan-base should be pivotal. The old Sierra of yore... anyone?

Thank you. Elequent post. And probably spot on.
Lets also remember that this isn't the first delay of this particular DLC. it's the *Second*. And even if we are to simply accept the fact that the delay was because of "really complicated bugs for a large seasoned staff staff to fix in 2 weeks" (lol) that still doesn't explain why not a single person from EA has shown up on this thread to SAY SO
We are owed an explanation. It's *our* money they're trying to get....

they are 7 hours behind us which means that now it is about 6AM.
im guessing we haven't heard anything because there isn't anyone there to tell us stuff, and if it is a problem then they will probably only start fixing it in a few hours when they get to work.
also probably why the web hasn't been updated
