That aside, I'm actually insulted by the fact only cheaters are assumed to be against this change. I have all 22 N7 weapon rewards, but the problem with that is my Eagle VII, Crusader IX, and Valkyrie I are essentially 17 wasted rewards for me. I do not and will not ever use them. On the other hand, the weapons I really like, the Hurricane and Valiant, I only have at IV and I. So I would love a chance to be able to get more of the weapons I want and less of those paperweights. That doesn't make me a cheater.

And that is likely the silent majority viewpoint that, like usual, differs from the vocal minority hardcore one promoted on these boards.   Including the N7s in the UR pool only benefits one group, the tiny percentage of players with a maxed out manifest (of which I am one weapon away from joining).  The much larger pool of players who have only a fraction of the total URs generally post that they *DON'T* want that pool diluted even further.  Bioware has to strike some sort of a balance between the small but vocal most dedicated players who act as ambassadors for the game and the majority that simply play it on occasion.  For that later group, having a guaranteed special weapon available after only 2-4 games worth of play might be the best thing they get that week and something they're proud to get and use.  Adding the n7 promo to the normal UR pool while simultaneously handing them out every week via challenges dilutes the prestige of those weapons into just normal URs.

No, you're not a cheater but rather a whiner.  You're complaining that you got 22 pieces of candy but didn't get to choose which pieces of candy you got.   Uggh...

To be clear, I said "For some reason I get the feeling that only cheaters will feel strongly against this", I also stated that I wield the banhammer, so I generally investigate cheaters, which makes me have an affinity to think of things from a cheater's perspective.

I certainly did not assume only cheaters are against this, I merely pointed out my opinion that cheaters are the ones likely to be against it.

Your opinion is biased and insulting to people with maxed profiles. You made your opinion public, you need to accept the public response.
Like the poster said, I view most of the bonuses i get from commendation packs as wasted, since I enjoy the Valkyrie and crusader the most, but I am stuck with a high score in the Valiant and Hurricane, neither of which I ever use.

I have to wait a week to try and make them better, while I watch weapons I never use grow.  I had no problem with having to max out the Indra, Javelin and Black Widow before I got my very first Harrier level, because getting more SP's and PSP's was within my power, I just had to play more.  

Some could claim that your commendation pack method is just a ploy to keep people playing your game longer artificially, much like counting loading screens in your total advertised gameplay time.

I'm hoping smartlglass feature is active with X360, cheaper alternative to the pissU.

This may come as a shock to you, but the Eagle is not so universally reviled as you think it is. A lot of people are bent out of shape when they get IT instead of their preferred weapon.  It's a fun gun to use, if you give it a try.

Online is going to suck, full of  rubbish players who should go back to mario land, plus the lack of total online players & no weekly operations for a while, if never. A poor alternative to ME3 multiplayer basically so quite frankly let them have what they want and if your annoyed, go join them.

I also have the Xbox, but naming the WiiU the PissU makes you just another 13 year old fanboy.

First advice: grow up.
Second advice: get your facts straight. You can start a game solo; so what has CoD79 to do with it?
Third advice: Learn your basics. Without the commercial successes of PC games (Doom, Civilization, Diablo, SimCity etc.) and Nintendo games (Mario, Zelda,  Metroid Prime etc.), companies as Sony and Microsoft would never have made a console.

I still play on Xbox when I can (after the kids go to bed). But if my kids are still up, or my wife wants to watch something on TV, I can get my ME3 fix on the Wii U controller. I haven't noticed any slowdown or framerate issues.

I work 60+ hour weeks and rarely have time for a play session that's longer than an hour or two, so the battery life on the controller hasn't been an issue for me.

Behold my awesome Wii U manifest. It's rough getting XP and credits when everyone's equipment sucks and you can barely extract from Bronze. I feel like I'm months away from being able to afford a PSP with that chance at a promo weapon.
