Before I start, a word to the admins: please remove this thread if it's in violation of board rules, I honestly posted this thread out of good intentions, and don't wish to break any rules here.
I just completed downloading a digital delux version of Dragon Age: Origins from EA store, but unfortunatly after the EA Download Manager finished decrypting and unpacking the files, one file in "\\\\dragonagedlx_dd\\\\data\\\\env.rar" had a mismatched CRC, which makes my installation abort mid way.
The exact file in concern in this archive is:
"env.rar\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\env\\\\orz200d\\\\orz200d_5_5_0.gpu.rim", Size:4,220,312, Packed:650,899, CRC: 175D5F38.
To fix my problem, I only need a valid "orz200d_5_5_0.gpu.rim" so that I could rebuild my env.rar file and continue with my installation.
So, is it possible if some really nice person to send me that file someway or the other?
I would deeply appreciate it, because it would save me a ton of time and bandwidth from clearing my EA Download Manager cache and redownloading the game from scratch, compared to just replacing a 650K compressed file in an archive.
Note that I have not submitted a support ticket to EA yet, because I already know the problem and its resolution. Also, this little issue does not make me regret purchasing this great game digitally in any way
