Or are you complaining about people complaining about complainers? It's a tired old argument, so please.

It's only ironic if you equivocate.
By being endless complainers about something that is a dead horse and need not be complained about anymore, they actually become something worth complaint.
Thanks though!

And you bring this up here, why? Cannot see any serious trashing of the vanilla-EC endings commencing here...
Speaking for myself, I do not really have any vested interest to follow up on that anymore, except out of mild curiosity. MEHEM does motivate to actually replay the campaign of the series, something the vanilla-endings utterly fail at.

If bioware is this big greedy company that is entirely EA, than was is this mod in existence and able to be on the BSN? I mean, why hasn't EA, if it is the worst company ever, not done what other companys do when you alter their product and distribute it and sue the loving crap out of the person who made the mod? Mcdonalds would do that if you altered the way they make their meals, even if it was an improvement. And I know movie comapnies would not hesitate to do so either. Even if they couldn't win, they do it to bleed you dry while they delay the court date and make you have to pay for legal defense until you submit to them and settle out of court for less than enough to cover the debt the suit caused, like they have done so countless times.
What do the people who hate bioware think on this? Because it would confuse me to no end, just like as a star wars fan I am confused at how george lucas, the person I hated a lot for the past decade, allows for fans to alter and distribute his movies and not sue them, since he is evil and therefore would do an evil thing like that.

even if they do not like this mod - shutting it down would turn into a pr-inferno.
even the first version was "download of the day" in some german journals and they had articles about the mod. and it got good reviews as well.
shutting this mod down, would result in a really unpleasant sh**storm.

because this time, they can not blame any pirates ot other mean people. only desperate mass effect fans, whe were looking for something, to make the series replayable for them. not a picture enemy to blame.

MrFob has repeatedly refused any compensation for his work. He is not stealing any profits from EA.
If EA took action, they would have to acknowledge why someone would want to make a better ending to their "perfect" game.

Not neccessarily. Mass Effect is copyright and property of Bioware. If MrFob was charging $$ for the MEHEM then, yes, Bioware and EA can rip him to shreds. However, as he is doing this out of the awesomeness of his heart for free he can get away with it.
MrFob...you are just...awesome!
Thank you for actually salvaging the tilogy better than Bioware could.
