Only if you have a character dmg bonus for AR's, AP mod, level 4 AP ammo, and maybe the AR extended barrel or high caliber barrel.
So technically, your OP Harrier....has a lot of help. It's not OP by itself.
The Revenant can also kill a brute on Plat in one clip with the same setup as above and the Revenant is certainly not OP.

Edit: God your connection is crap...
2nd Edit: Dude... wow... your connection is such shat, and the fact that you're used to it makes it even more hilarious. You start shooting Assault Troopers, and pull your weapon off them before they're dead, then they die a split second later... and you don't have any DOT capabilities. Maybe this is why so many of the "Uber 1337" players have some of the worst lag situations... your foes are dead before they even acknowledge your existence half the time, even though you're standing right in front of their face not using right hand advantage.
Well it's more the other way round in my experience. Enemies shoot me before they come around corners, hit me through walls/cover, etc.You have no idea how easy this game is for me if I host.
Ohh yeah.. I've seen it go both ways. When you try to duck behind cover and still take Banshee Balls/Atlas Rockets/Prime Shots even though you were WAY behind the wall or even in hard cover sometimes.
I was shocked when you attacked the bottom spawn one of those times, and there were 8 guys in front of you (4-5 on the ground and 3-4 in the rafter spawn) and none of them even took a shot at you or looked at you. Then when you went up the middle stairs and came face to face with a Centurion +his buddies behind him... you again took no damage.
Pulling the beam off the Assault Troopers before they were dead though... that took the cake

Sure, please list all the other weapons that can take out a plat brute in 1 clip or in the amount of time it takes to kill it with the harrier.djspectre wrote...

Also now i'm 237.12% convinved that you couldn't have pulled a similar time off with several other weapons, so it must be the PPR that is OP, and since it's OP nothing else could possibly need fixing. But it's a sirian thread, so i'll take it as seriously as the "shuriken is not bad".

I loled at this
But in fairness..If any of you played From The Ashes DLC & recruited Javik in SP, you will remember that Shepard will be able to watch some footage of Javik & other Prothies fighting...Some of the shots involve Protheans using PPR against a Reaper..a Sovereign class Reaper...
When a weapon is used against a Reaper ship..it's supposed to be OP ..

You also didn't mention what mods you used for that feat. A point I made clear was a requirement for your claimed feat to be possible.
A harrier hits hard, yes, and with the right mods you can take down a brute fast.
But take that weapon, no mods, no boosts, no gear, no ammo and you cannot take down a brute in 1 clip on Plat. This is what BioWare uses as their baseline to see if a weapon is OP or not. I have a Harrier V and with stability mod and a full clip of hitting the 'soft spot' ( above it's head on its spine) on a Brute was not able to replicate your feat of killing it in 1 clip.
Now, if I had used Adrenaline Rush, which gives an instant reload and thus an artificial 'larger clip' I was able to come much closer. And keep in mind I have additional rounds in a V than you have in your II.
Further you never stated in your original quoted statement anything about how FAST a brute does down, just simply that you could do it in 1 clip.
Video of you dropping a Brute without mods on a single Harrier II clip on Plat to prove your point or I'll just let my own personal experience saying it's not possible stand.

Wait, why didn't you use incendiary IV? I always though incendiary was more powerful on the PPR due to ridiculous fire rate stacking the DoT? Just wondering. Also, that was insane lag!
Because headshot + TC means everything dies so quickly that DOT wouldn't even have time to take effect.

Clearly, equipment and mods were introduced as an extra and not as a core game mechanic, so they should be ignored... seriously? But i'm still waiting for that list. Consider any ammo, mod and class for all i care, the list will still be pretty short.djspectre wrote...

With the Harrier, the drawback only comes into play if you're a camper. Moving around after each spawn is something every good player does anyway. Its light enough at 10 to use on a casting-heavy class, plus you can do full damage with it at a moment's notice.
Not saying that the PPR isn't an amazing gun, but its drawbacks are unavoidable. The Harrier is only sort of heavy, and its drawbacks can be worked around quite easily. And for the record, I don't want a heavy nerf to the Harrier. A weight increase and maybe a few % less damage would suite me fine, provided they buff the other ARs.

The bolded part.....yeah, I realized that AFTER I made my post that I was now having a double embedded quote with TWO different people! LOL
The list is a list you wont get because the original genesis of my series of posts had to do with someone who said that a Harrier 2 could down a brute with 1 clip on Plat....which is not possible. I'm sure someone can find the dmg output stats for the Harrier, compare it to the clip size (22 at a harrier 2) and the total health of a Brute and come up with the mathematical proof that it can't be done without mods, armor weakening or character AR dmg boosts.
I won't argue that the Harrier is the strongest fully-auto AR we have (Other AR's are stronger per shot, but aren't fully Auto) on a per-bullet basis. So if it had a large enough clip, I'm sure it could take down any given enemy faster than other AR's.
But speed wasn't the point originally.
Besides, I find that clip size and thermal clip reserve size help me more in a Plat match due to the insane high HP values the enemies have. I'd rather have a Revenant X or a Typhoon X than a Harrier X on Plat any day (mainly because of shielded enemies and the need to keep them from regenerating). I find that constantly pelting them gives my more clip-size-challenged teammates time to reload

The only time lag is my friend is when the Raider gives me 3 shots. All other times it's my enemy. The lag you get to the host does NOT affect how fast enemies shoot you. The only thing that affects that is the host's processing power.
