Agreed! It's just the everyman weapon though (based solely on how much I see it used, mind), and that is why everyone wants it nerfed.

Hm, so though people are constantly complaining how bad PUGs are, you're convinced that everyone wants the Harrier nerfed and nobody is happy about certain combinations making it almost impossible to fail with?

What I mean to say is that - albeit being used very often - I'm happy if somebody with a Harrier joins a game I'm in, because I know he probably won't eff it up.

Who is this "everyone" i hear you speak of?

Do I really need to use the forum 'search' function for you?

Please do. Then i'll post the dictionary defination of "Everyone" and have a nice loud laugh as you fail to meet the meaning of the word and is shown to be full of hyperbole (attempted).

No, you missed my point. I don't see the point of calls for it being nerfed.

It is much easier to use than other URs. Most people at least have one at level I. Therefore they use it. Therefore it's perceived as OP and the nerf-people want it nerfed.

Personally I don't use it, and I'm ambivalent towards it being nerfed or buffed.

And you missed my point, you can hardly say that "everyone" or even the majority of people want it nerfed.

Why don't you Officer Grammar Police? Would the term "every nerf-caller" be better? Less hyperbolic?

It would defintely be much closer to being non-hyberbole but then your sentence would be "and that is why nerf-caller wants it nerfed.", which would be as silly a statement as "every man drinking water who drinks water" or "every moron who is a moron".

Typhoon and PPR are equally as good maybe even better than Harrier in most cases, especially while playing Platinum. Saber needs to catch up to them and I believe BioWare is going to make some positive changes to the Saber this coming Tuesday.

LOL.

Look to your own silly statements and bad grammar (quoted), before trying to correct me, Officer.

I suppose the "everyone" using the harrier are the same "everyone" who used the krysae/gi combo pre-nerff, also how everyone is using the tgi i suppose(even though bioware released the stats for the weekend op that showed people were not)

Feel free to point out where i use obvious hyperbole like you. If not, i'll take it as you're so embarrassed from having your attempt at hyperbole being spotlighted that you're now nonsensical in an attempt to not look so bad.

@Kyrene, your grapes seem to have gone a bit sour there champ.

Oh, not at all. Just refreshing to see you admit that sometimes the game is heavily skewed in your favour when you play. I'm under no illusion that you and others are skilled, perhaps even godly, at the game. The constant preening and circle jerking of e-peens just gets a bit tiresome...

Considering 90% of the games I play are hosted by xcal, Stentron or tyhw, all of whom have extremely good PC's, resulting in incredibly fast-targetting and accurate AI, I fail to see how the game is heavily skewed in my favour.

If anything it is skewed against me. You seem to be labouring under the idea that my horrible latency somehow helps me. It does not. People who have not experienced it have NO clue about all the BS I (and others who lag as much as I do) have to put up with. At LEAST 75% of my deaths in this game are due to lag. If I hosted, I would almost never die.

Yeah. And it wasn't even my intent.

Harrier's fine. PPR is fine. Saber needs a buff.

A bit defensive there champ. I did say "sometimes" and I did complement complemint (;)) you (even if you wish to see it as back-handed).

And actually no you didn't... you said "I am under no illusion that you and others are skilled..."

Probably just a typo, but perhaps a Freudian slip there eh? ;)

Yes I don't see how lag would give you an advantage. If I (Australian) ever join a quick match I am usually constrained to cover as it is the only way to stop all the rubber banding that I get. Compared to most of the games that I get, Sirian had a good game there.

You have a strange sense of the Freudian!?! Being "under no illusion" means being "convinced" in my English. I thought Aussies speak the queen's version of the language...

According to Wikipedia:
A Freudian slip, also called parapraxis, is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is interpreted as occurring due to the interference of some unconscious ("dynamically repressed") subdued wish, conflict, or train of thought. The concept is thus part of classical psychoanalysis.

Slips of the tongue and the pen are the classical parapraxes, but psychoanalytic theory also embraces such phenomena as misreadings, mishearings, temporary forgettings, and the mislaying and losing of objects.

Yes, rubber-banding is the most annoying thing with lag. After a few round of lagged games, when I go outside, everything feels like rubber-banding :D. Probably the brain getting used to lag after prolonged exposure to it.

@Sirian: I watched the video several times, what exactly happens at 2:09. I did not see any rubberbanding or anything like that. but that Phantom was funny -annoying especially when you are trying to snipe her.

Yup, come to forum in the morning and the biggest front page thread is yet another self promotion of a youtube video.

I respect the PC-Master-Racer-Elites with maxed UR manifests to advise better on what's broken than people who look from the outside.
Much like the Claymore/Wraith debate, until i got my Wraith X, i didnt feel i could comment properly.  Statistics dont tell the whole story.

Still, nice video.  For PC people...
