Yea I know what you mean by lagging when other people host.. it happens a lot to me, sometimes I just can't do anything so I have to leave the game, but if I host everything runs smooth.. figures.
I barely use the harrier.. can't do much with so few shots.. and the stability is a pain.. can't kill anything if I don't use bonus..
And I hate the PPR.. can't work with it @_@
Nice game you had there btw, even with all the lag and phantom teleports.

easy mode? I wish you can tell that to the randoms I come across in games. They can kill quick but they go down way more times than they should. Good players can make any kit look like easy mode.

I like to think in my (admittedly small) bunch of videos I have made/participated in, that I have played a variety of classes and used a variety of weapons. This one just happens to be 2 infiltrators, because we were attempting to show off the true powah of the PPR (which works best on an infiltrator).
Sorry the video bored you, we can't please everyone. Hopefully you'll enjoy the next one more.

Cheers. I guess we can see the Phantom teleports as extra challenge mode to compensate for having Jay on the team, turning gold into bronze.

Hopefully, if it isn't a duo, you'll have a better host, though I suppose I third member with a good connection could just die at the start of each wave and record the game from both your perspectives. Might be a bit boring for this person though.

Thank you Lord_Sirian for your anti nerf thread and video. The Harrier needs to be left alone. It has a glaring weakness. A lack of ammo and a small clip.

You should really see my lag. I play on a Brazilian host a lot (I live in Germany myself), I have terrible internet (I even claim that it is worse than yours) and I lag like **** all the time. It's not just enemies hitting you through walls or dying a second later. It's also constant screen jumping, impossibility to dodge just about anything and enemies teleporting all over the place and shooting you from impossible angles because they are actually standing somewhere else.
Nice job though I like to see that other people are good even though they have lag, too.

I have to say Particle Rifle is seriously good weapon, I just hope Typhoon is not as heavy compared to particle rifle although it has its own advantages..

You mean the Reegar or Acolyte don't break balance more than the Harrier?
You're confusing popularity with overpowered-ness. I am a good player, and as such, I recognise that the ONLY way a weapon can be overpowered is if it truly fits the definition of a noob-cannon. (That is - it requires no/very little aiming, does big enough damage to kill all targets in very short order and fills an all purpose roll).
The Harrier does none of these things. The lack of spare ammo means that aim is important to get the best use out of it. It performs no function other than killing things. It isn't a great ammo primer and can't CC outside just killing things, and isn't particularly great at boss killing on most classes either. It's also too heavy to be used on a fair few classes.
Your claim that the PPR is harder to use is correct, but ease of use =/= overpowered.
Your claim that it is harder to AIM is completely incorrect, as the PPR has no recoil and is pinpoint accurate, whereas the Harrier has some recoil and a slight spread.
All in all, the Harrier and the PPR are both well-balanced weapons. The fact that the Harrier is easier to use is irrelevant. It is not breaking the game in the same manner as, say a pre-nerf Krysae did. It does not turn any class/user into an instant machine of destruction.
Skilled players will do incredible things with the Harrier, poor players will suck with the Harrier, average players will do averagely with the Harrier.

People only think Harrier is OP because of the TGI at the moment. The fact that you have to be so intimate with your ammo box balances the power of it, especially on plat, where the ammo boxes like to withhold half your ammo until you say please enough times.

I don't really understand why people hate on it either. But overall I think the reaction is positive to most of these sorts of videos. You can't please everyone.
