Please share your characters and loadouts you used for this banner.

I have done the drell adept with raider with the usual build except i took lift damage in cluster grenades.

The volus engineer with particle rifle and everything except proxy mine because i spam recon mine alot.

Dunno who to do next. I made the mistake of doing 40 waves with a volus adept so i might be forced to finish it.

I made the same mistake with the Volus adept, and just stuck with it. Ended up grinding a few bronze games, because I disliked the class so much. Other than the 3 weapons for the challenge, I just used the PA and PV (both w/o lash) and DA (Reave/cluster with 3 levels of pull) with whatever weapon I happened to be using for the weapon challenges at the time. Went pretty smooth other than the Volus bit.

Op, try the Pheonixes. I have been having relative success with a smash/singularity on the adept and the smash-meleeguard. It's relatively fast to get the games with them.

I'm working on this one now. I have done the wepons and all but 1 game with drell vanguard. I have ~120 waves done with phoenix adept, drell adept, and volus adept.

Drell van is awesome if you like how they play 6/3/6/5/6 his weapon is a carnifex

Phoenix Adept is decent(and better than vanguard IMO) but he's a little tricky to get right 6/6/6/5/3 on him. I use both "stripper guns" disciple/acolyte. Blade and AP on disciple for certain situations. acolyte is main.

Volus adept is a monster. I normally score over 160K on gold with him. 6/6/6/5/3 paladin as his weapon. debuff evo in orbs is really useful.

You can also complete this banner with Volus Sentinel, is easy to play.

I completed Talon, Hornet and Raptor challenges, so only waves i have, but i think to do Outsider banner, when Volus Vanguard and Drell Infiltrator will be released.

Drells, ExCerbs, Volus adept.

I reccomend doing other challenges while playing as an outsider to make the grind feel less noticeable.

drellguard would be a spawn clearer for sure with cluster grenades specced for capacity. I would be able to use my raider on this guy too i think. Aiming cluster grenades will be much easier with this guy's charge.

Im interested in this singularity and smash combo you mentioned. How fast is this BE compared to a warp- throw BE? Also do the enemies stay by the singularity long enough that the singularity will detonate your smash? Singularity and smash - BE 1 singularity detonate smash BE 2

Also is there any benefit to taking radius on smash unless you have a biotic friend - which i dont. You can self detonate only one BE explosion at a time

I did everything minus Raptor (also skipped it for Sniper mastery, really hate this gun), volus sentinel, and drell vanguard. The drell just feel too squishy for my tastes so I played the adept as a bit of a sniper with a Crusader (love that gun and Shocktrooper gear allowed for more cluster grenades, probably could have done similar with the vanguard if needed). The grindiest bit was the volus adept, just didn't feel as fun as the engineer but was still useful at keeping squad-mates alive on higher difficulties. Wouldn't have minded finishing with the volus sentinel but he came in too late when I was nearly done with the banner. Definitely focus on other challenges while you do this one or it will feel like an absolute chore.

The ones I am using are the Phoenix, Drells, and Volus Engineer/Adept. Won't be using the Volus Vanguard or Mercenary.

Most fun for me: Vol Eng and Drellguard. Talon was done before I realized it was a challenge.

Did Hornet with DA ( and some QFI to do the sabotage-cheese thingy). Had to rebind my trigger key, it was killing my finger.

Vol Adept was ok. Did some bronze out of fear that I might suck, but Reegar made it more fun.

Hated Phoenix adept. Ditched Raptor after a couple games.

If I had to do it again I'd use the Vol Sent, which was released just after I finished.

1 . i would suggest picking the characters that outsider applies to.
2 . make sure to spend all your points and put on any gun you can find.
3 . get brave and enter a lobby or create your own.
4 . get all psycho and.. oh i dunno... try to win or something....

granted it is only a rough guide i have here, but i spent hours maybe even weeks to bring this complicated strategy to you all.

seriously tho, just try some stuff out people.
even some of the wierder builds work well for some people.
try to make your builds at least logical and you should be alright.

also, if you're not familiar with a character or play style, then dont be afraid do downgrade to a lower difficulty until you get the hang of it.

I did the Drell because well, they are simply awesome. The 3 weapons because even tho two of them are beyond terrible, it takes 2 gold games or so to finish them. Lastly I did the 2 original Volus since even tho I despise them, they were part of another challenge as well, killing two birds with one stone.

Volus Engi and Adept with Scorpion (Acolyte while not playing PUGs).
Phoenix Vanguard (which is nice, he has fast and AoE heavy melee, good for staggering mooks after charge - Eviscerator or Wraith)
Phoenix Adept (I prefer Human Adept though, Paladin and Hornet - my default Adept/Engi loadout).

Didn't use drells, 'cause I'm space racist.

I used the drell adept, volus engineer, and both ex-cerberus guys. I equipped each with the three weapons to get those challenges over with simultaneously.

Drell Vanguard + Hurricane/Talon + Grenade Spam. Instead of  lift damage  I spec for max grenades  (+ Grenade capacity 5
Cerb Vanguard + Hurricane/Talon + Incendiary Ammo (BC ->Fire Explosions)
Volus Adept + Reegar + Orbs speced for better cooldowns + Shield Boost spam.
Raptor/Hornet + Human Soldier (Adrenaline Rush spam).

I've done all the three weapon-related challenges (raptor was a pain, by the way, Talon was easymode and Hornet wasn't that bad when used on the original Turians).

I'm one of those weirdos who actually enjoys the Volus adept, so I'm going to finish 200 waves with him at least, as well as the Engineer (currently having fun playing him with the Scorpion, and that'll help towards the Commando banner as well). After that.. I've been playing a bit with the Phoenix vanguard, and then I'll just have to see for the last character. Maybe the Drell or Phoenix adept.

I'm working on my Drells at the moment. Good thing I love these kits, but it's hard playing with slower classes afterwards. Volus Engineer and Sentinel for variety.
