The best agents in the galaxy deserves the best gear in the galaxy right?

So what happened to being on the cutting edge of weapons and armour?

This has been missing from ME3 I understand by this point the galaxy is at war with the reapers but the fact that Shep doesnt gain access to any unique experimental weapons? Common I hate to say it but Cerberus is leading the charge with gear, but I guess when your using reaper tech its easy to be ahead of the curve.
It still would be great if some DLC brought in some new Spectre gear. Yes I know there is a Spectre Store in ME3 I'm just saying those items dont feel unique enough.

Somewhere in the galaxy I know that there is some group of council engineers pushing the bounderies. My only question is when will we have access to the furits of their labor?

*Spectre - Master Gear[/b] items are prototype equipment not available through regular vendors, and are essentially the ultimate weapons of Mass Effect, standing head and shoulders above anything else in the entire game. Only two merchants in the game sell this gear, the Normandy Requisitions Officer aboard the SSV Normandy and the C-Sec Requisitions Officer in C-SecAcademy.

Well every class has a gear set that is optimal for them. I don't count on any new armor for shep that isn't a reskin of something existing or cerberus related coming to SP DLC.

Mass Effect 1 was amazing for its immersion.

HK Shadow Works wasn't a real vendor in ME1... or at least not one that was available without console. :)

But otherwise, yeah it would be nice. The issue is that in ME1 the weapons were all essentially the same (two models per class), but with different stats.

Even if your at war, not only are you a Spectre your also an N7, to me the means your a double bad-ass. If I can't have more Spectre gear give me mor N7 gear that does more than give me health. They pretty much made the Inferno armor N7 gear when in ME2 it was Cerberus interrogation armor.

Don't know. ME1 spectre gear was just superior in every way, while ME3 gives us a very varied, quite balanced arsenal. Adding weapons which are just THE BEST would ruin that.

So you think Spectre Command really has access to better tech than Cerberus Skunkworks?

I wouldn't mind some cool new spectre armor PIECES to mix and match with current armor pieces

I'd settle just for some armour pieces or a whole set like the blue Spectre armour Ashley and Kaidan get. I don't see the point in more special weapons really, considering that the existing Spectre weapons (Wraith and Paladin) have been rendered a bit redundant with the release of some of the MP weapons in SP now.

They wouldn't have to be "THE BEST" in every way, they could simply be weapons designed specifically for Spectre Operatives. Here I already thought up a few that'd be a good nod to the ME1 spectre weapons and still bring some new unique flavor to the ME3 arsenal.

HMWSR "Hammer" Sniper Rifle
Description: The Hammer is a modified Viper rifle that has been upgraded with an advanced scram rail barrel and squash or "sledgehammer" ammunition. This gives it unparalleled suppression power allowing it to stun any target that it doesn't outright kill. It is also surprisingly effective against armored units, destroying armor mounts and vulnerable components through sheer force of impact.

Advantages: Higher damage than Viper; Can stagger shielded foes and rag-doll unprotected ones; bonus damage against armor; uses ME1 sniper firing sound
Disadvantages: High recoil; lower RoF than Viper; Heavier than Viper

HMWA "Vanquisher" Assault Rifle
Description: When searching for a new assault rifle for their armory Spectre Requisitions had two very specific demands. The first was the high accuracy and handling demanded by their agents; the second was the ability to penetrate cover to allow agents to quickly sweep aside entrenched targets. The result is a modified Vindicator rifle that despite being full-auto has even less recoil than it's predecessor in addition to greater stopping power thanks to the need for cover penetration.

Advantages: Excellent accuracy and low recoil; innate cover penetration; high damage; uses ME1 assault rifle firing sound
Disadvantages: Very Heavy; Small magazine size

HMWSG "Paragon" Shotgun
Description: An upgrade to the Katana shotgun, the Paragon features a revolution in smart-choke design, allowing for adjustments to pellet spread to be made on the fly without the need for an omni-tool interface. The user simply holds the trigger before releasing the shot to tighten the choke. This allows the Paragon to stay relevant in rapidly changing battlefield conditions.

Advantages: Variable accuracy allows fast close shots and precise long shots; High damage; ME1 shotgun firing sound
Disadvantages: Low spare ammo; Relatively heavy

HMWMP "Ronin" Machine Pistol (SMG)
Description: In order to create an easily concealed and high performance side arm Spectre Requisitions gutted the frame of a Shuriken machine pistol and completely redesigned it's internal systems. The result is a devastating close range pistol. While firing significantly slower than the Shuriken, the Ronin packs far more punch as well as a unique fragmentation ammunition that shatters on impact. While the ammunition is not technically explosive the effect is much the same and it allows the Ronin to hit multiple targets with a single shot.

Advantages: High damage; AoE damage on impact; Fires in full-auto; ME1 pistol firing sound
Disadvantages: Low RoF; High Recoil; Cannot take advantage of armor piercing mods or ammo

Well, when it comes to spectres, it's not just the gear they carry. It's how they use it.

This is a great idea bring in spectre gear with current weapon restrictions but with the old company logo and feel, U got my support:)

Thats true but the point of the OP is that it shep doesnt seem to have access to weapons that arent out on the galaxtic market like in ME1. (i.e. spectre only gear)

It would be nice to have a compact pistol version of the widow. A handgun that fire's tank rounds.

Sadly, with the MP mode and balancing issues that arise from that and all guns that enter into ME3 I don't see imba spectre gear coming into the game. Unless the spectre gear were balanced, in which case it essentially become's Rare or Ultra Rare gear. Or if they release spectre guns and arour as a SP mode only release.

One thing I did forget to mention was I would like them to bring back the apt shep got in ME1 DLC. What happened to that did shep sell it or did it get blown to hell in the reaper attacks?

I think there is a war asset on Inta'sei (I think I am spelling that correctly).

While I'll certainly not turn away new armor (though I may not actually buy it, like this latest Appearance Pack), I thought they did a really great job with the armor in ME3. Useful bonuses, esp. when stacked, and they all look pretty good, with several pieces looking really awesome (to me).

I'd rather get future armor sets in pieces. After having the freedom to mix/match/change colors, I resist wearing full armor sets. Even ones like Inferno which have great bonuses for certain chars.

In summary, I luh my N7 armor, but would welcome other choices, but IN PIECES. Biower pls.
