I am not sure what the point of these threads is. I mean, I thought the point of most threads was to promote discussion. Threads like this usually just boil down to a bunch of people volunteering personal information without any discussion. Why is that entertaining? And how interested can anyone possibly be in my personal information? See this is the same reason I don't understand Facebook and twitter.

Discussion without arguements or insults. A rare treat on the BSN

I love how she goes from being the shy, anti-social archaeologist to one of the most dangerous people in the Galaxy.
She's sexy as **** and her boobs are huge.

Miranda comes a close second, but the fact she's a bit-part player in ME3 turns me off and her relationship always struck me as more of a fling as because she is who she is, she'd never be one to "settle" down. The AI core moment only verified this.
Garrus BROmance > Garrus romance every day of the week. Garrus' romance is similar to Tali's and most other characters in ME, but the bromance between Shepard and Garrus is unique in the series and he's the only character that you could truly call Shepard's best friend.

It doesn't have a specific point. It may lead to discussion, but it's more of a Share-Your-Story sort of thing. As far as personal information, I wouldn't see an interest in a particular LI as that personal of info, relatively speaking.
Regarding my own personal favorite, that would probably be a toss up between Thane and Morinth. Many of the companions tend to blur the line between realistic writing, and cliche tropes. Thane and Morinth stray a bit closer to reality, and are the less cheesy of the bunch. Honorable mention to Liara, but everyone and their mother/father seems to bark up that tree.

... His passionate enthusiasm and stalwart mentality enthused my femShep with heart warming confidence. The man truly is the astral embodiment of ardent devotion, lightning in a bottle, an expert in the art of war and a veteran in love, an abstract artist and a concrete thinker, a dynamic figure with the flair of Elvis and the guile of Sherlock Holmes. A man who once, using only one thermal clip and a rubber band single-handedly saved a colony of Batarians from a hoard of angry Pyjaks. The birth of this man redefined the definition of loyalty and gave rise to 15 new synonyms for the word dedication.
... Every femShep deserves a dedicated lover like Jacob.

After actions in ME2 and romance in SB dlc, she asks me in ME3 if I want to continue? Seriously? and then for most of the game nothing, until ending.

Does that make me a bad lover? :/

Which is why I pretty much always romance Garrus, despite my best intentions.
He has blue clan markings, what?
Seriously, though... Thane, Garrus, Jack, Kaidan and CRUSHING HOPELESSLY ON SAMARA are pretty much the best ones. And my opinions are one hundred percent solid.
Poor Thane.<3

Chose Ashley in Me1 just for a romance. Better than Liara.
And Samara would've been great.
