Jacob...
... His passionate enthusiasm and stalwart mentality enthused my femShep with heart warming confidence. The man truly is the astral embodiment of ardent devotion, lightning in a bottle, an expert in the art of war and a veteran in love, an abstract artist and a concrete thinker, a dynamic figure with the flair of Elvis and the guile of Sherlock Holmes. A man who once, using only one thermal clip and a rubber band single-handedly saved a colony of Batarians from a hoard of angry Pyjaks. The birth of this man redefined the definition of loyalty and gave rise to 15 new synonyms for the word dedication.
... Every femShep deserves a dedicated lover like Jacob.
They all suck though, lbr.

I found Allers and Jacob to be the most believable. Allers was just a hookup, nothing campy or melodramatic, and Jacob just moved on like normal people often do when separated by long distances.
Ummm...I waited three years in RL for my hubby....Jacob is a douche and a cad for what he did to peoples femSheps, there was no excuse.
Blame Bioware, not Jacob. It's not like he was married to her. He even said he was only in it for the "prize". Just another notch on his belt! It's not his fault she was crazy and couldn't pick up what he was blatantly laying down.
And seriously, if you've watched the reunion of Jacob and psycho Femshep on Youtube, you know that chick is crazy. "Come ooonnnn Jacob, you know you want ittttt... Fine. You're a bastard." All down on her knees. Crazy ex. I mean, what the heck? Jacob looked like he was in fear for his balls and I don't blame him.
I never played a femShep....so never saw her in action with Jacob in ME2....will youtube the ME3 one now though....you have me curious.
By the way, those three years I waited for hubby, we weren't married, it doesn't take a wedding band to honor commitment.....And from what I hear, didn't Jacob in fact tell femShep he loves her in ME2 if she romanced him?...He was written to be an *sshole in ME3.
EDIT: Just watched the femShep romanced Jacob in ME3 re-union...she tallks to Brynn about it too...Wow! Brynn's a wh*re....funny the things we miss when we don't play particular story lines, I hadn't minded Brynn until now.

Garrus
Ashley
Kaidan
Liara
Usually the order I do them in. The rest were forgotten, including Mira, but I still like her character. I have yet to do a full Tali romance though.

It's really a tie for 3:
Liara - Including DLC - spans all 3 games and has the most fleshed out (pun intended) story in ME3
Kaidan - Respect turns to Love - Love turns to Loss - Loss turns to Anger - Anger turns to distrust - Distrust turns to Confusion - Confusion turns to Understanding - Understanding turns to Love.
Steve - Overall, his personal story is very touching. I think there are real-life undertones to his story especially when dealing with combat and loss.
My personal favorite, though, is Jack.

Ya, the forums been banished to the same place as the Dark Energy plot, Gianna Parisini, and coherent endings.

How the pickles did they get the entire forum shut down for an indefinite amount of time?
What the pickles did they pickling do with this pickled flame war?

From start to finish, her romance just feels right. But what I like in particular:
~> Unconventional and interesting romantic pairing (galactic war hero + unnamed superbiotic w/ a life of crime).
~> No "love-at-first-sight." The attraction is realized over time, on both sides.
~> She combines elegant beauty with swagger perfectly.
~> A "no regrets" theme involved that works perfectly for a romance on the eve of the suicide mission.
~> Jack opening up to Shepard to cap off this romance in ME2 is very rewarding.
~> ^ feeling is compounded seeing her again, looking good and seeming genuinely happy, in ME3.
... and there are quite a few others, but these are the big ones.
