I never played a femShep....so never saw her in action with Jacob in ME2....will youtube the ME3 one now though....you have me curious.
By the way, those three years I waited for hubby, we weren't married, it doesn't take a wedding band to honor commitment.....And from what I hear, didn't Jacob in fact tell femShep he loves her in ME2 if she romanced him?...He was written to be an *sshole in ME3.
EDIT: Just watched the femShep romanced Jacob in ME3 re-union...she tallks to Brynn about it too...Wow! Brynn's a wh*re....funny the things we miss when we don't play particular story lines, I hadn't minded Brynn until now.
Just saying, I don't take it personally when a fictional character isn't loyal to the fictional character I'm controlling. If Jacob was a real person, nobody would blame him for moving on from someone who's basically on a collision course with death. And Brynn wasn't a wh*re, you only think she was because you relate to Shepard.
I understand why people who romanced Jacob are upset, but that doesn't reflect poorly on Jacob. It's just that as gamers, we have a sense of entitlement afer putting probably hundreds of hours into a series.
I actually think it's kinda interesting that Bioware went this route after conditioning us to have that sense of entitlement. Unfortunately, I think they did it out of laziness instead of just being true to a sense of realism, but that doesn't change the fact that I kind of like it.
P.S. People fall out of love sometimes. It happens. That's why you usually don't marry your high school sweetheart. Doesn't make the faller-out-of-love a bad person.
