I went with a bronze solo with the vanilla Asari Adept. Quickly noticed that warp+throw would kill most mooks rather than granting a BE kill, so I ended up having to stick around for 6 waves, using stasis+warp until there were nemeses/engineers/centurions/dragoons.

How'd you tackle this one? Trickier than you thought, ensuring that BEs got the kill?

I'll probably use my justicar, bait mooks into the bubble, and then throw out a reave to detonate.

I think you may need to rethink that strategy, Reave tends to be a killstealer.

Solo silver on Glacier Hazard w/ Unknown enemies as Drell Adept(Pull/Reave). Was done by wave 4.

One PUG of silver as the Valkyrie against reapers with 2 phoenix adepts and a krogan vanguard. Easy as cake, turn on AF, rush into enemies, wait for lashes, smashes and biotic charges.

It's trickier than you think. BEs don't get the kill as often as you'd expect if you don't try for it. I thought I'd be nice and hop into PUGs as a Justicar, use Reave to detonate all sorts of ****. Turns out that Reave steals kills all the time. Not sure what to try with that wouldn't. Might just not try to help randoms this op.

Soloing bronze cerberus with AJA. It took a while but it did its job.

Fury u/u/g solo w/ no equip except shield boost V. Rushing every collector in sight and fission mailed but still made the op quite fast... Still, I'm happy the store won't be able to troll me further with Crusaders.

Phoenix Adept - let Singularity do a bit of damage then det. to ensure the BE kill.  Solo on Bronze/Silver.

I haven't had any problems with it. Sphere + Reave and Pull + Reave have both reliably given me BE kills.

Soloed one Unknown, Unknown, Silver match. Got Reapers, Firebase Giant...Finished the challenge in Wave 5...Seriously contemplated the prospect of purposely dying due to sheer boredom of soloing...But I finished it anyway...Objectives were 2 activate, 1 pizza...

I did it with the Asari Valkyrie. Did a U/U/S, got Reapers, and got it done during wave 8.

The Operation is bugged.

I've solo'd three Platinum (out of 12 attempts) with a Human Engineer and also with a Quarian Male Engineer, by far two of the best candidates for set ups & detonators of explosions, and I STILL haven't completed the operation! BioWare needs to fix this issue!

HOW MANY MORE TIMES MUST I SOLO PLATINUM MATCHES FOR THIS CRUMBY OPERATION??

I see all these threads of people who get it by wave 3 and whatnot, so I'm even more frustrated now.

Derp. The challenge says you need to do biotic explosions...

N7 Fury. Gold solo versus Reapers. Got killed in round two. Another Gold solo game versus Reapers. Done in round two. Let myself be killed. Got my Valkyrie.

Solo bronze with Drell Adept.. There were many BEs, but the Cluster Grenades were killing enemies outright before the explosion could do any damage, so switched the fury and got it in 9 bronze waves.

Oh, its just my luck then ah well. I am probably going to use a fury.
