Solo'd gold with a fury. Only to realize afterwards that thanks to some stupid bug, the weekend op did not yet appear in my challenges, and I guess it didn't count anything either. Narf...
You have to restart your game after an operation has started for challenges to become active.

An Acolyte will do that better than any amps would. With an Acolyte, you can shoot, BE and kill a Gold Phantom. Plus, the damage from the Acolyte will give you her barriers if done within AF's range.N7 Rixus wrote...
If I were to do this operation right now I would of used a couple of power amps, the adaptive war amp V gear and the N7 fury with all the power damage bonuses and probably weaken my enemies a bit with my talon pistol.
Yeah I changed my mind when I was looking through the list of pistols I have and decided with the acolyte instead but you beat me to it before I can edit my other post

Solo silver on Glacier Hazard w/ Unknown enemies as Drell Adept(Pull/Reave). Was done by wave 4.
Geth. Sometimes had to use Pull twice to make sure a BE would kill them but all in all it was pretty easy.

6/0/6/6/6 Fury, spam throw on enemies caught in the annihilation field.
I used Fury as well but Dark Channel came in handy when doing solo to keep my distance. DC with consecutive Throw to create BE as DC transfers to the next enemy. Anyone who comes in close AF/Throw/BE takes care of them. Carried an Acolyte to strip some shields and barriers. Really cool.

Might try out the Krogan Shaman for a change, something tells me his armour needs to be red.

I fail really hard at this, but there's no way I'm getting this weekend's challenge without soloing..
Suggestions to what I should equip my AA with are welcome.

So.. for the Op, I chose the Drell Adept and spec'ed the Drell for max area effect Pull and Reave, minimizing on Passive power damage bonus. Did the Op in 3.5 games -- the first was a DIG on Wave 5, still got 4k points though.
BTW it's been some time since I played the Drell, so I kept mixing things up, first game was consistently trying to detonate with Pull.. it's the other way round, Pull is Primer, Reave is Detonator. Drell is also good in that he is basically very fast, good to get into position to lay down Primers.
Turns out.. here's a little trick. Play against Reapers or Collectors. Hunt Husks or Abominations. A min-damage Pull/ Reave will consistently BE and kill them, so they count. Particularly funny when a Possessed Abomination gets this. Same goes for Cerberus Troopers, try to gun for them -- a single combo will likely kill on Bronze. Against Scions though, their massive armour just takes a bit long to chew through.
For the gun, I initially took a Predator here, but ended up not shooting much. Instead, the next game I brought in an Acolyte; the shield/ barrier-killing ability is very important; you can Prime a shielded Centurion, shoot it with the Acolyte taking the shields off, then use the Detonator, triggering the primer. So it helps quite a bit.
EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention -- I spec'ed for min CD. Gun was at 185% IIRC. and took Structural Ergonomics (V in my case). CD on my Pull was sub 2s. Reave is a bit longer. It helps because primers need to fly a lot faster when you are competing with 3 other Biotics to lay primers. Remember, the BE belongs to the player with the last primer before the detonator.

I haven't done it yet... I have none of the fancy classes that can do biotics. I'm gonna try soloing as an asari adept on bronze (I have never done anything higher than a bronze mission) with geth enemies, but I'm unsure on where I should try it out.

Find a freind and both take human adept. Join a pug for the extra meatshield. One spam warp, other singularity, if they get too close one warp the other shockwave, you will be finished in like 5-7waves.

There were 2 other adepts so after I got mine I thought that maybe they had trouble or something so I changed to a Cerb Adept... Yeaaaah that was kinda counter productive... every skill the cerb adept has seem to prime targets so guess who hogged all the biotic kills...

I used the AA. Read the OP, and you can check my HQ for the build (see sig). If you cant get it, PM me, if you want. Wont be on until tonight, but I can try helping you out in a match later, if youre having trouble. You prime, I detonate.Deihjan wrote...

Ok I was just joking, but I'm wondering: have you got any idea why the acolyte shot restores your barriers? I've noticed that as well, but it shouldn't work that way... Bug? Intended feature? Bad design? What is that?
