Has anyone else encountered this issue. I specifically made my build to have 18 dexterity at lvl 7, in order to get the +2 dex from assassin spec, so i could hit 23 dex at lvl 8 and get lethality.
Can anyone help?

attribute bonuses from specs are the same as bonuses from equipment... so if your Dex was 18+ 5 to start with, when you get the assassin spec it will be 18+ 7, not 20 +5. Does that make sense?

oh, interesting. so it's not useful for the base stats needed to attain talents... that sucks. thanks for the post though

Attribute bonuses from specializations cannot be used to unlock talents or skills. You will need 23 hard points in dex to get lethality. outlaworacle is right.
