:wub:Yay finally we have our very own forum!  THanks so much Bioware :-)

Here's a sample of some of the Dragon Age fan art I've done over the last several weeks (months?).  Most of them can be found at my Deviant Art page.

This is my portrait of the male Brosca, the latest in my Grey Wardens art series:


And within that series, this is my favourite so far - my interpretation of Lady Aeducan (dwarves FTW!):



Here's my version of Alistair (well one version, that is):


And here's Zevran (I swear I'm more of an Alistair fangirl but this elf kind of grew on me):




And this is because I love both Alistair and Zev... I simply cannot choose! Waah!

This is the cover art for a Zevran-themed fanmix I made. Eh, the image compression is terrible but what the heck.


mrofni suggested an Isolde and Connor theme and I accepted the challenge 


After finishing Mass Effect 2, I was starting to miss Dragon Age and who should I make another fan art of? Why sexy Zevran of course!



Some Alistair fans have requested for this specific type of image (a larger version can be found at my Deviant Art page). Hey Bioware - is there any chance that Alistair will  have his own high-res CGI trailer? You'd make us fangirls REALLY HAPPY.  I can share this model if you like, just give me some Bioware merchandise in return  I'm easy.


Bann Teagan version 1.0 (Still a WIP)


Here's my version of an older Alistair based on the fic A Midwinter's Thaw, which takes place 8 years after Alistair abandoned everyone and Loghain sacrificed himself to slay the Archdemon.  Someone please give this man some cheese.


Okay here's Teagan version 2.0 


This is what I think what Alistair and Zev would look like had they been in the Mass Effect universe (of course Zevran had to wear something Thane-inspired).  If you like you may call them Commander Alistair Shepard and Zev Krios hahaha!   I'M SO SORRY! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!

This one's called "Virtual Love".  Bigger version can be found in my Deviant Art page.  There's a short story that accompanies this one too.   Inspired by that very awesome 80's song Together in Electric Dreams.


Here's my initial model of Nathaniel Howe.  I'm not happy with his face so I'll definitely work on it some more but I'll take a break first hehe.  This is part of my Grey Warden series.

These are amazing. I mean, i love the characters and all, but I'm much more fascinated by the fact that you can manipulate computers to create such an amazing thing. It's the same reason I listen to and love electronic music, because I am a geek.

Ohhh crap..............I am trying to get my art skills back after many years and each time I go to another forum I am just knocked out by what is being posted in comparison to my current level of ability. Great stuff and maybe I can get somewhat close to this sometime. At present my children have purchased some art supplies for me after hearing I was getting back into it. So I have some pastels and some oil pastels and oil paints some water colors and some standard pencil grades. I want to start doing some thing other them just drawing so which of the above would be the easiest to start with. i will be going online for tutorials but would just like an opinion from some real artists. thank you.

@Skydiver8888: TEAGAN!!!! Mmmm as a hopeless Teagan fangirl myself, I'd LOVE to make one, and I probably will! BUT... I need to make his likeness first. I have this weird obsession of making models that look like the character, but I'm not really good at it so it takes me a looong time to do it. But we'll see :-)



@Dennis: Good on you mate! I recommend that instead of starting on the medium that you think is the easiest, better start on the medium that you LOVE. After all, passion in what we do is what keeps us going, it's the fuel that helps us grow and improve. Go find that passion. I'm confident that you will. Good luck!

That reminds me... Dwarves need a romance... Oghren or Dagna!

It makes me think of one other thing... Do all the men in Dragon Age Shave? I always picture Dwarven men being hairy, and my human male looks odd having a beard with no chest hair. Just speculating.

I have a question though. The tattoo of the Griffon/Warden symbol - where did you find it?



Because I'm thinking it might be a great pattern for an actual tattoo. I mean, I'm just thinking out loud here, if I get another tat it will be well thought out and all. But still, I'd like to know where you got it or did you draw it yourself?

@Ozsras: Nah it's just a cleaned up version of the Grey Warden crest found in the Bioware website. Someone from the Alistair LJ community, swooping_is_bad,  cleaned it up, and rather nicely I might add.  Although yeah having that for a real tattoo would be awesome

 I just made another fan art, a diptych this time, which is very... well... fangirly.  Male viewers, you have been warned!  lol! It's all due to my inability to choose between Alistair and Zevran. I hope it's ok to post it here because of its implied nudity and ahhh intimacy (the Zevran version is a bit... well... risque, but hey, that's Zevran for you lol). I think it's ok to show this here but if not, no worries, I'll take it down. A larger version can be found at my Deviant art page.

I looked through the fanart tag but couldn't find the crest itself. Do you have a link or know the author of the post so I could search for it. I'm really thinking it could be a great tat now.

Or do you have a image of it? The cleaned up version? I know it's a lot to ask but I would like to print it out and take a look at it up close.
