I am in awe. The Zev pictures are amazing, and although I'm with the other Alistair fangirls and would love a front on shot like the last Zevran you did (although perhaps with Alistair looking down at us, considering he's taller :) ). I must say I love the first Alistair one - despite his banter I often picture him introspective like this - he has a lot of depth and a lot of stuff to think about during the game.

All of your work is amazing! The Connor and Isolde picture is very dramatic, and so sad... :crying: you were able to portray Isolde with such dignity.. (which I didn't know was possible). Well done.

And all of your pictures of Zevran are sooooo good. <3<3<3 Keep it up, you're awesome!

His eyes are just stunning in that one.

mrofni Sorry for the wait   Been stuck doing other things (plus Mass Effect 2 was seriously taking up my free time lol)  Anyway, this is my version of Isolde and Connor.  Well, more like INSPIRED by them - I didn't have time to make their likeness so I just made do with what I currently had.  As for the outfit, just about every noble woman in the DA universe was wearing what Isolde was wearing so I did away with that... besides I wanted their clothes here to be symbolic more than anything else.  I didn't want her to be sobbing uncontrollably either - I wanted to give her some degree of dignity so I made this farewell scene with her son.

fightright2 Oh I'll definitely make another Alistair image, you can count on it :kissing: It's just with my Zev work, him staring straight at the viewer made perfect sense because he was very comfortable in his skin and with his sexuality.  Anyway, once I get my act together and have more free time I'll make another Alistair image -  I'll keep your suggestions in mind. ;)

Beautiful Lydlyd, thank you.  Isolde gets a bad rap, but a mother's love is... well, I don't think there are words.

Thanks for the continued support, I love you guys

By popular demand, here's the Alistair version:

I had to work on this in between projects though, so I didn't really spend a lot of time on it.  I'm not completely satisfied with the lighting so I just MIGHT revisit this image.

Cool. Are you using Poser or Daz Studio for the figure base (I work for Smith Micro)? These are really neat renders.

@Miri1984 Luv ya! Thanks for the Dev watch btw ;)

@The3D-Artist  *blushes* Thank you! I used DAZ|Studio for these renders, but I'm always trying to learn new stuff (I've just fallen in love with Zbrush) You know, ahem, I wouldn't mind getting a complimentary copy of Poser for the mac so I can play with it, wink, wink, nudge, nudge :D

Lol. I'll see what I can do. If you need any help with ZBrush, let me know. I'm an old ZBrush user myself.

@ The3D-Artist w00t! Oh thank you! *hugs* I'm a total n00b in Zbrush but I'm loving it! Do you have any suggestions where a beginner should look for tuts? I was over at Zbrushcentral looking for that and there are good ones there. For the moment I just want to start small - just add Zbrush to my current workflow and work on base figures.

Here's my version of Teagan, still a WIP though:

This also marks as something of a first for me since I primarily used Zbrush to sculpt his features. I'm still a complete n00b but I'm loving it!

As always very nice. Your work makes me want to try drawing again. But it's been so many years. I'm completely unfamiliar with new computer art programs. What would you suggest?

Thanks everyone! I'm going to take a bit of a break with my Teagan model but when I'm ready I'm going to definitely make some revisions (I have a few ideas already).

@Phoenix Swordsinger: good on you! If you want to start creating digital works, I suggest trying GIMP (the name reminds me of that BDSM paraphernalia but I digress) - it has the basic functionalities of its overpriced counterpart Adobe Photoshop and you can get it at the best price available: FOR FREEEEEEEEEE :)  Most people use it for image retouching and photomanipulation though.  For drawing and painting digitally there's Art Rage - not exactly for free but it's waay cheaper than Corel Painter (which is excellent IF you can afford it).  At this stage though both GIMP and Art Rage are good (and inexpensive) introductions to creating digital works.  Besides at the end of the day it's still the skill of the user that matters the most, not so much on the software.

@lydlyd: I think I saw a pic somewhere of the exiled Alistair which was yours, but I don't see it on your deviantArt gallery. Could you post it? Even though it was *gulp* so sad...

Yes I was wondering where that one was on Deviant as well. Not that I go to SIB ALL THE TIME to look at it any way... *innocent eyes*.
