And that has what to do with it not being canon when it was stated my Laidlaw it was a canon story in Dragon Age?Rawgrim wrote...

She is both, definitively, go see the movie: Dragon Age Dawn of the Seeker
She moves like rogue but she knows her way around with a shield.
She is an overpowered Mary Sue in that movie. The movie isn`t canon either, so I guess its invalid.
Didn't watch the special featuers did ya?
the devs said the movie was completely separate from the games, so.

They said books, comics and the movie follows a different canon. If Laidlaw said something else, they changed their stance on it later.

On topic, I'm hoping for Rogue. An Archer, specifically. Nevarrans are famed Dragon hunters after all.

No, what they said is that its canon but its made to not heavily impact the games. ...Except Asunder and the comic series impact DAO pretty significantly. So.. *shrug*

I'm disapointed that so many would worry about trivialities such as "gameplay" when the most important question is still in the air.
Cassandra Pentaghast: Romanceable or not?
She is straight, gay and bi. She also has a chipmunk suit for those folks.
Really I haven't heard, but I'd say she's not romanceable, once she's met Varric no one else has a chance.

It's a lot of maybes! Personally I picture her as a 2h warrior.

Great OP, instead of a spoiler warning, you deny responsibility and blame people who took the time to enter your thread and read your posts for not finishing DA2... "It's not my fault I'm spoiling DA2 ending for you, it's your fault for being spoiled!". You're just super!
In the OPs defence, the whole board is about DA3. Wich happens after DA2. I guess spoilers for previous entries to the series is to be expected.

Uh, thats definitely the seeker symbol. The sunburst with the eye in the center. Normal chantry symbol doesn't freemason it up.

A sun with an eye in the center is the symbol of the Seekers.

And a sun with an eye in its center stabbed by a sword means Inquisition which I am told nobody expects.

Which makes sense since the Inquisition was divided into Seekers and Templars and the symbol of the latter is a sword

So, it's basically a combination of both symbols.

This is the Dragon Age 3 forum. DA2 spoilers are fine. If you haven't played DA2 then stay out of the DA3 forum.

Cassandra isn't a Templar, she's a Seeker. They're 2 different things. And as has been pointed out, Templar hunters are rogues.

Man I hadn't seen that before. I was still holding on to hope that the Inquisition was a more independent organization, or possibly even one made by the circle. God damn chantry.
Well, as long as I can RP that the main character is persuaded against the chantry through what he/she learns. (Or maybe I'll be persuaded towards them irl? Could happen I guess... But probably not.)

wasn't she a rogue ? Because she used two swords started flipping around and used a bow and arrow once , I think. How can she hate mages when she fell in love with one ( kinda ) in Dawn of The Seeker? he kissed her and everything . and she wasn't as dark as she is in the game and had longer hairiPoohCupCakes wrote...
I'm pretty sure she's going to be a Warrior by looking at her armor it looks heavier than Leliana's. And in the movie she's a warrior. But you never know with Bioware.

Not so much unexpected or surprising as it is undesired.
... I mean yes, I did not expect that.

*sigh* For goodness' sake, folks, Cassandra Pentaghast is a SPECTRE! The poor thing has suffered a time- and universe-displacement schism and is simply trying to make the best of it in the barbaric world she's now stuck in.
Presumably she'll end up dead and/or pointing a weapon at the protagonist. Probably both. All SPECTRE's seem to.

Sorry, couldn't help it.
Having not seen the Cassandra movie, I'd go with warrior, unless someone had seen Cassandra picking locks, picking pockets, using poisons and not just dual-wielding, but dual-wielding in a precise and dirty fighting style. That's how I'd try to differentiate between a warrior and a rogue, anyway. As to stealth, well, anyone can try to move quietly. How well did she do it though?
That being said, I don't really care either way.

She is a seeker aka "Rise of the Seeker" I think he just meant she is not just a seeker. Something that is apparent at the end of the Dragon Age movie.caradoc2000 wrote...
As I recall from Gaider's post, she is not a Seeker.Orian Tabris wrote...
We see here, that Leliana is wearing Seeker armour, suggesting she's is a Seeker.
I think judging by that movie she is a rogue! My opinion. I guess we wont know until DA3 is announced, assuming she is a companion. I am 95% sure she will be!
