I wanted to know if the Dragon Age Ultimate edition on DVD is patched or not. I know it comes on two discs, one for Origins, and one for Awakenings and the mini-expansions. I'm wondering if the Dragon Age Orgins DVD in this edition is unpatched or comes pre-patched.  Thanks for any answers.

It comes with patch 1.4.
1.5 is available in the relevant section of this site.

You will need to patch it in order to have access to all the DLCs that come with the Ultimate Edition.

Thanks, but to be more precise in my question, does the Origins game come pre-patched or is the patch on the disc and you have to install it manually? In other words, I want to know if the Origins game dvd in this edition can be played  completely unpatched. I already know if I want to play the awakenings expansion and the other stuff it would have to be patched then.

You don't have to install v1.4 manually, the installation will already take care about it.
Origins is playable without patch 1.5 as far as I know.

Origins and Awakening is playable with a fresh install. It will be version 1.4 when installed. To authenticate the DLC you will need to download and install patch 1.5 on this site.
