Well, for it to truly be a challenge you should do it on another map, and preferebly against Collectors. No use of rockets allowed.
Giant and Reapers is probably the best setup for level 1 characters (as with most solos and for trying out new crazy builds and stuff like that). Right now this setup is so easy that any decent/good team can do it, and especially if they use rockets as well.
Nonetheless, good job you guys, I enjoy watching videos like that
If they did a no misisle run, at that point it would cease to be a gimmick game and turn into a race to see how long it would take to wipe.
We wouldn't have wiped, the video would have been maybe 15-20 minutes longer.
We're good enough players, and the enemy AI is predictable enough to the point where gimping ourselves with crappy weapons, weak characters and other stupid handicaps only extends the length of the game. I don't find these "challenges" very challenging... unless you would count a test of patience as a challenge, in which case it is very "challenging".
So what would see as a challenge then?
I can't speak for Caineghis, Uh Cold and Candlejack but I personally do not find this game "challenging" in any sense, and it's been that way for awhile now.
There isn't much challenge when you always know how the enemies are going to respond to your tactics, when you know how to force the enemies to behave in a certain way and always know where the enemies are clustered together on any given map without actually making a conscious effort.
I don't expect my outlook to change given how a player can use the same tactics indefinitely because where a human opponent could adapt and counter your strategies, AI enemies cannot. Sure, I could take down an Atlas on Platinum using a level I Avenger and no mods without dying. It'll take forever, but using right hand advantage for example, I won't even take damage.
