Hi everyone~ I'm Saori and I particularly enjoy drawing, even though I'm not that good. I'm also used to drawing anime, so my style isn't the best to use to draw DA fanart *sad* Oh well. Practice, practice, practice I suppose.

Another quick one, this time of my Dalish rogue.



It's always fun to hear Leliana talk about Orlais and its many aristrocrats, along for her love of shoes and dresses.

You are good, I like anime art, and she is beautiful! Good job Saori. I look forward to seeing more of your art.

I took some art in school and was pretty good with dinosaurs and Garfield, but you are a lot better than I ever was. Keep practicing because you have talent.

And anime style is a good style. I know there are some elitist snobs who look down on it, but who cares about them, right? It's just as legit as any other art style. Keep doing what you love Saori, and I look forward to seeing more of your art

Seriously, how boring would it be if every artist drew stuff the same way? I mean, look at Lady Winde's vs. yours vs. aimo's vs. lydlyd's...all very different and all amazingly good.

Thank you everyone. Everything you all said gave me a sudden boost of confidence.
It's just that DA's graphics are so... realistic and hard to incorporate. The only person whose 2D anime artwork here I've seen so far is aimo's and she does such a good job at making them all look like themselves, while making them anime. It's pretty amazing~ I'll be sure to look at the others you mentioned though, Skydiver.

The reason I love fanart in general is to see an artists personal take on characters. So they do not need to be instantly recognizable. Anyway, do post more ^^

I've never understood why some people get so hung up about anime and it's style.

I have to admit though, Leliana made me tilt my head a bit to recognize her, heh. But very very cute nonetheless.

She needs more stalkerI'magonnaeatyouness though, but that's just me, hehe.
