Wow, powerful chapter. You handled Zevran's emotions and motivations very well. Poor Alessar - he needed to tell Zevran how he would interpret such a gift, but I'm sure he's having a hard time dealing with the consequences.

Thanks, Tanith :3 Neither one of them is having an easy time of this, but Zevran has the slight advantage of knowing how Alessar feels... our poor Warden is still a bit unsure about Zev's side, though.
Oh, insecurity.

Oh, man, I just realized--are you going to stick with the bit where the Warden has to ask Zevran for sexytiems in order to get the rest of that dialogue sequence? Because turning away an eager Alessar... oh, man, that's going to be painful on both ends.

(Although the situation will resolve a little bit differently than in-game...)

Am I a horrible person for looking forward to this scene?

No more so than the one writing it, I suppose.

Just to let you know I'm suffering Alessar deprivation. *pines* Though if you're too busy, I shall soldier on!

Me too. :| Work's going to be kicking my ass for at least another week, I haven't even thought a line of fiction for the past 2 days, nor will I tomorrow (out of town). It may be a while before I get to WWN16, but that one post-Awakenings kmeme prompt is looking mighty tempting...
you guys. XD

Added a short piece under Awakenings and beyond for Well-Woven Net.
I'm working on a longer piece at the moment that I plan to post all at once, which is why there haven't been any updates lately!

Bump for a biiig update -- the entirety of "Geese in Spring" has been added (at the bottom of the first post). NOW my brain is free to work on the 'Net again, and boy is it ready to get started.

I wanted to say, I just found your stuff. How I missed it is beyond me. I had actually been following Geese in Spring on the kmeme. Finished reading what you have of well-woven net last night.
Simply lovely.

Thank you, LadyDamodred!
Geese was a fun project, but the Net is my canon story and I'm really glad to get back to it now ^^ Thanks for reading!

Just caught up on Well Woven Net and read all of Geese in Spring. The latest chapter of Well Woven Net was so sad. I suspect that Zevran understands all to well what Alessar is going through. Powerful writing, will be looking forward to the next knot.
Geese in Spring was wonderful, very enjoyable tale.

Thanks, Tanith
I do think Zevran understands, both from a personal standpoint and from observation of others, and he's in a special position to help Alessar through this.
Hehe, Geese was a fun side project (though it ended up taking a lot longer than I expected)! Glad you enjoyed it :3

Bump for some new additions: the Stray Strand piece, "Value", and some kmeme nonsense set during Disappointments. If the idea of Amell/Alistair slash amuses you, there you go.

I read WWN several times (it's that good) and knot 16 always makes me cry.

Aww, thanks very much for reading!
I won't say I'm glad it made you cry, but I'm glad it evoked emotion!

Bump for a fun little addition: Fine Literature, written as a prize for Minaleth in one of the weekly prompt contests on the Zevran thread.
