I'm playing a mage near end game of the regular campaigne. I have Vestments of the Seer equiped:

+9 Will Power
+6 magic
+10 Armor
+ 12% Spell Resistance

There is Reaper's Investments at a shop with:

+6 Constitution
+20% Fire Resistence
+16% Spell Resistence
+10% Chance to Dodge
+12 Armor

Its 92 gold and I got 352 gold sitting in my pocket at the moment. There are some good rings to. Off the top of my head Ring of the Ages 20% resist all for 72 gold. Which is alot better then the Ring of Faith and Iced Ring I got right now giving me 10% resist fire and ice respectivley.

My staff is the Currupted Magister's Staff. And I don't use Spirit attacks so its not much good to me. I mostly use fire and the prism type attacks (paralaysis, ect). I do sometimes use crushing prison, mind blast and I took Mana Clash to get the heavy hitter achivement which admittedly has been great on mages and I use a fair bit. But I'm certain there is a better staff for my build out there.

I havn't played expansion yet, just heard things were much more expensive there. Looking to sell all gear from npcs and do an import into the expansion so I'll have maybe 400 gold to spend if someone could point out ideal rings, robes, ect. Thanks!

So spells I use most are Fireball, stonefist, flame weapons, (sphere attacks, paralaysis, warding, repulsion,)  crushing prison, mind blast.
