So if an xbox player posted 3 hours after the DLC releases, and a PS3 player posted 2 hours after release with a solo completion, the PS3 player would have been "first" by using the time method described above.

I would be grateful for some input from xbox / PS3 players when the DLC usually becomes available for download and how that translates into GMT, as 6-7PM GMT is when the DLC arrives for Origin users usually.

How 'bout we all drop this first come, first served basis, which is quite meaningless to be honest? I know I said this before, but it's been a while. Why don't we re-arrange them using something more meaningful than "I'm first"? Like, I don't know, timing? Or anything else you guys think is good. I honestly think time wouldn't be perfect, but it would be the closest to that.

Anyone?

I figured timing would have been in the first implementation but it really does cater more towards PC's. How about this:

1) Lowest time
2) First one to complete challenge
3) Honorable mention.

I know. Maybe it could be split by platform too? Otherwise I don't know. As I said, I think time might be the closest thing to something fair for everyone that we have... But the closest doesn't meant that it's close

I wanted to get 10 Waves Survived medal and the whole game was trying to be cautious. Made it to the Wave 10 without dying and THESE TWO $@%&* DRONES!!!111 got me. They were also responsible for another death on the extraction wave.  

Consumables used: Missiles - 5, OPS - 6, Gels - 2, Thermal Clips - 4

And people won't be happy with them, but its in the name of "challenge".

I do have some proposed weapon bans, though I will need to gather some stats on how frequently certain weapons were used.

Giant is the obvious choice for a map ban, but there are other maps which are pretty simple too which I will be looking towards.

Also, depending on what changes come with Retaliation (ie: adjutants) I may well consider banning out the Reapers faction too. Though hopefull I won't have to, if we are getting Adjutants added with Reckoning.

Honestly, if you were to do that, I wouldn't give a damn and I would keep doing my solos with acolyte, harrier etc...

I simply wouldn't post about them here.

The point is,  everyone's already seen the harrier, the reegar, etc in a solo. A little variety goes a long way.

And you are correct, it is completely up to the player what weapons, map, etc that they choose.

I knew this would be a controversial decision, and I'm keen to emphsize nothing is final at the moment.

I just want to see more than "another class soloing with harrier / reegar" Y'know? Because its been done before 100 times. There are plenty of other good guns for soloing with, and reckoning should bring more.

If I'm proposing banning out a couple of guns, that still leaves a lot of guns that are viable which aren't banned.

Same goes for maps, ban a couple of maps and that leaves others which are still viable for a solo.

So do I, for sure. You know that 

But, in my opinion, ruling those weapons out won't achieve much good. I might be wrong though.
