Nonetheless, an xbox run would be helpful to me. The PC platinum runs I have seen look like so many gold games that I have played.

Ok dear lord I got to wave five last night with the Excerb adept and had a disconnect. This was my fourth attempt and I had 8 gels left and all the other consumables. I know cool story but my frustration with this game just hit an all time high.

I think I'll try it with one of the easy mode classes instead. The cast times on the character are just difficult as hell on Plat.

Well, when you find me some evidence that suggests that the AI on PC is easier than on console, I would love to see it. You don't have any, you're just inventing excuses.

Solo on PC? You're obviously cheating and modding your ini file.

Have a mouse and keyboard? That clearly makes the AI bronze level.

Record your solo, so its clear that there was no cheating involved? Selected console players don't care, they'll accuse you of cheating anyway because they're immature.

A person's platform is irrelevant. If you can't solo platinum on xbox / PS3, you sure as hell can't solo it on PC at 60 FPS instead of 30.

There are a lot of really good PC players listed in the post, just like there are a lot of really good console players in the post, and there are a lot of really good multi-platform players like Caineghis in the post.

Caineghis, Uh Cold, Saeed, Invader, Salmon.... I assume you aren't accusing them of cheating, simply because they are on xbox or PS3?

I would appreciate it, if you have nothing to offer this post - except thinly veiled accusations of cheating - that you do not post here. PC players with videos do not need to prove they aren't cheating as its blatantly obvious they are not. And players such as yourself making up nonsense, claiming xbox is harder are just pathetic and immature.

Had a wave 9 disconnect the other day.  Completely demoralizing.

I was pretty decently into the wave and thinking wave six reapers is easy so I would have a good shot at it. Now I'm not sure why I would put myself through that again.

Do the routine Plat soloers have a high incidence of failure?

I can actually agree.  PC games look so easy, and I emphasize that I never think of them as cheaters what so ever, nor do I think that PC enemies are easy on platinum moreso than xbox.

For example, when I see a Hardcoresalmon or Caineighis run on platinum, It looks like the same Platinum that I play (we are all xbox), however, platinum solo vids I see on PC just seem like they aren't even trying-and I know they are though.  

Now, withought any snide comments leading to a STUPID FCKING PC/CONSOLE WAR, I ask.  Are console players really like a hundred times better so they make this game look easy, or is the PC just so much easier to play on?

I have nothing but respect for the PC guys who are on this list, I am not trying to start anything.  I am very curious.

Nice to see someone wanting to discuss this in a civil manner, although maybe this it not the right thread for that.

I'll summarize my opinion on the matter:

1. I only play on pc so everything I say about consoles are what I'm being told by people I trust.
2. Playing on pc is easier for some aspects, harder for others.
3. It's easier cause your control is a lot smoother, and you can easily do things console players cannot (reload cancel, 180 degrees turn in an instant, headshots, and so on...)
4. It's also harder because, above 30 fps, which is what most of the pc players play on, the AI gets more accurate.
5. All in all, I'm guessing that since you're looking at runs made from very skilled players, they are able to balance out the con sides, and you end up only noticing the good side - that the entire gameplay feels a lot smoother and easier.
6. If you can actually reach that level of skills, and balance out the bad things a bit... The time of your runs will be faster on PCs.

Here is the link to the video.  Have also been trying to manipulate video settings so I can record MP reasonably decent.  There are two spots where the video froze, but it is for a fraction of a second really.  Noted in the video.

I think there is a small difference in loading times in which PC will always have an advantage as well. I think this is rather miniscule though like 10 secs or so. Not really a big advantage in solo times.
