I'll give it a try once I can play again...in about three weeks. No clue what to do with weapons though.

Also Anno, how many solos used the Harrier? I didn't think it'd be that big of a problem for Plat solos. And I'm on console and just curious, but why are pictures not acceptable proof for PC anymore?

Solo's are not really my thing, so no. I wouldn't see much issue using that great gun on multiple classes. His rules were introduced to encourage "variety" according to him not because of eas of use/difficulty (I do believe that factored into his decision making) I do think  the main reasoning was his own personal code of ethics on what is acceptable and balanced in this game. Why we are at it would should ban the entire Inf class, Geth Trooper, or any other classes that is high representation. His reasoning is bad.

so far i have only seen 2 people used the claymore, one was me with krosol, the other was batsent. If soloing is not your thing why bothered post here?

I did my Turian Sentinel with one too.

Clearly they are overused

Collectors are bugged as f*ck. It's sensible to not solo against enemies that can one shot you behind soft cover.

You end up fighting every enemy type anyway when versus reapers, cerberus, etc.

Geth aren't popular because of how much stun lock they used to have. In terms of balance, reapers and cerberus are the most balanced factions (maybe geth too now...?) but collectors are still stupidly hard to solo against thanks to soft cover providing little or no benefit versus praetorians.

I decided not to ban any faction, as the map choice matters a lot more than the faction when it comes to soloing.

You should remove all your solos as they are done on you very own banned list of maps.

Except the rules I imposed apply only to Reckoning, if you bothered reading; which was clearly stated.

I got a London/Reapers solo done with the Sexbot.

61:27. Unless Reapers were banned, this should qualify I think. Used a Talon + GPS.

BTW a wave 10 escort across the middle of London is a PITA even with infinite gels.

yay. i finally got a mission successful WITH an extraction. stupid bioware and their w11 c*** blocking cheese. i used crap that doesn't qualify for the reckoning dlc rules, oh well. pizza run, devices devices.

AIU - reegar and scorpion. used the scorpion more than anything because when phantoms got close i auto-revived into sync kills and dragoons are annoying.

If anyone can solo with a AIU specced out of repair matrix (and bring video evidence) you can have the discretionary award, or a speed run would do as well.

If I miss you, remember to PM me: even if I don't respond I will have read it, I might not update the post immediately, but I'm no longer unemployed, so i don't have all day to sit around trolling the BSN anymore.



I don't know what I'm more interested to see; the first solos using the other characters, or the speed run record being broken again... sub 20 minute platinum solo would be ridiculous.

Really cool kit to solo with, but the slow movement speed sucks.

Went with adrenaline module... not sure if adrenaline module is better than cyclonic for the Juggy.

It was an idea that someone talked about on BSN, actually. I only needed to be in positive cooldowns for turret spam, so I decided to take the disciple with omni-blade to help with the sync kills.

Yes, I feel no shame in sync killing the AI, because, f*ck knows: they've done it to me enough times!



EDIT: Music or no music? My sound card is dying, so there's a hissing sound in the recordings... music masks it....

So, trance or just game sound?

Also, that's the last time I ever solo this late at night... forgot to remove my contact lenses, they'd been in for 12+ hours and my eyes were burning and irritated the entire game.

I had pepsi to drink inbetween waves though, and pepsi is always good.
