That's sort of the point.  You get her to flip, or stop and bubble up so she doesn't shoot you.  Right?

I think a Human Soldier can do decent damage with the Harrier.

It usually also isn't rocket science to figure out where they go when they cloak, since it is practically the nearest cover, and you can still see them.

I was going to give H Soldier a try when I had time tonight since it hadn't been done, and considered switching to CS.  Don't know that I will now though.

I know Alinthaldaar, every single match i run with him, i just run around trying to find things that don't already have a fkin harpoon in their head lol, he puts ashame every sniper i seen before.

@AirQuotes : you can Fragnade at point blank while looking at the ground, then shoot.

If you're further away, Frags will make them bubble anyway. Since Frags are not instant unless you detonate directly on a target, they'll stay bubbles until the Frag explode. Which gives you time to either shoot or run.

That said, I avoided them like the plague for the major part of the run. I killed Banshees faster than Phantoms.

They lose their ridiculous DR in cover or when they vault over cover though, there's your chance to dispose of them. Otherwise, I just ran away and killed other enemies. The only enemies I didn't bother with unless I had no other choice were Phantoms and Geth Primes.

Adrenaline Rush and its buff to weapon damage ( mainly if Human Soldier is spec for wepon damage ) make phantoms a joke with the Harrier, really.

Also, granades to the floor, those frags are powerful.

Also, when she uses her bubble of negation, she just stand there for enough amount of time to use Adrenaline Rush and kill her most of the times if you are good enough with Headshots.

1 vs 1 - maybe. But they are rarely alone. And as I said - wastes a ton of ammo and nades. 

It also depends on the build.

If you use Concusive shot you can detonate explosions everysecond and damage multiple enemies constantly without the need of granades, if we add the bleeding effect of granades then we have a cool mix of things.


Lot of nades need to be used, yes, but the prize.....

Needs quite a few frags to kill a Phantom and running to ammo boxes to restock. And Reactor has very few nades. Phantom in cover is good for Sniper rifles or Shotguns if you can sneak up of them. Auto weapons gain very little from that. 

Avoiding Phantoms for whole waves while having Banshees on you ass + Brutes, Marauders, Ravagers with no cloak is also very hard and wastes time. 

So 35 minutes is quite unbelievable. 

The Frags aren't there to kill the Phantoms anyway. Mainly used them to finish Ravagers while killing swarmers, or staggering other enemies. 

The only enemies who were hard to kill were Geth Primes, Phantoms. The rest could be taken care of quite fast. 

And I had a Hurricane in backup for when I'd run out of ammo with the Harrier (quite often). The spare ammo from the Hurricane is enough to deal with a fair share of enemies before having to go to another ammobox. 

And Thermal Clip Packs.

Maybe this will motivate me to finally finish a Plat solo. Multiple attempts so far, and i keep going down to dumb mistakes, usually from not being patient, in wave 7 or 8. Will be a couple of days though, im out of town for the weekend.
