I can understand what Air Quotes is saying and I to am a bit skeptical but since I don't know enough about PC to even have a opinion on it I will say nothing.

It is indeed better to ask questions, but only if an answer is possible... It's not that Jay's saying "yeah I cheat" on here, right? So, what he is doing is just showing off doubts.

Which is completely ok, as everyone's entitled to write what he wants as long as it respects the others.

I was trying to point out that I think that frame of mind is not the best possible.

But I probably wasn't able to pass the message through... I blame english being my 2nd language for that

I see no QFE has been submitted. My pb got part way through wave 10 once, haven't tried since as I pefer playing gold to plat...
But when I've done this formal lab report (gimme a couple of days) I'll have a go at getting it done.

I was going to do it because she is truly one of my favorite character's but I will leave it to you and there are quite a few other's I can do. Here's a video I did on her. You may want to go with a no passives build for the Platinum solo though just to be tankier but if you can survive with her with this build then that's good also. Another build would be to spec out of the turret and just do 0/6/6/6/6.

Great idea OP!

I think it's better to use completion time as a "rank" factor though, that way other people can try to break the record. Personally I don't care who has done it first if someone can do it better. Faster completion time means more than completion date, it's much easier to solo if time is not an issue, pushing it under 40 minutes means taking more risk and requires more skill. The date is only relevant to account for the differences in difficulty due to balance changes. And you should definitely list more than 3 people, there are not so many platinum solos to begin with.

So I promoted my sentinel class in an attempt to solo platinum with a level 1 volus sent. using a predator.

If you use completion date as a factor then people will prefer to use easier weapons anyway. For example if I see that there is a "spot" open for a certain character now, should I just quickly take my harrier (edit: or whatever is easier for that character) and make sure I get there first, instead of using something more challenging?

If you list everyone (not just first three), the weapon used and sort them by completion time then you'll be able to see what the best time for each weapon is even with harrier and reegar leading.

YAY! That would be great news indeed! 

Personally, I'd rather watch a low level quality of his POV recorded from a cellphone than the one you can record while going down and seeing him play. The latter lacks some crucial information, health/shield bar being the most important.

I can agree here. Maybe just limit the ones which go over 10? I'm pretty sure TGI is already way past that, but the other classes shouldn't come even close for a while.

Legitimate attempt, I gave up and died after I delivered the pizza.
I'll go for a real platinum solo with the HFI sometime today or tomorrow though.
