it's inconvenient that the patch for the game hasn't arrived yet. Give BW a break! They are busy bringing us Mass Effect 2, DA:O Awaking and whatever else is coming in the future that's yet to be

announced and some of you throwing a hissy fit! Show some patience, people. I'm sure they are in the works.

Yeah sure lets give them a break to release more games that
make them money while we wait for a badly made product we've already spent our
hard earned money on.



You should listen to yourself!



If this game was a more mundane object like a TV or a microwave and it didn't
work or only worked some of the time you would be asking for a refund or an
exchange for one that did work. This game doesn't work all the time as there
are serious flaws within the code that have obviously been overlooked in the
testing stages of making this game. Even if it was a DVD that say skipped a
scene for whatever reason it is no difference to a mission not being available
because of a glitch.



Sure it is just a game but it isn't some cheap iPod game we all paid £3.99 for
it is a game I personally spent £56 on and for me that is a days wages at work
and I spent a good part of my christmas holidays attempting to complete it only
to be thwarted by a game breaking save corruption bug.



What adds insult to injury is that it doesn't take much to find out there are
several patches for the PC version; sure we know that for instance Microsoft
have a very stringent policy for patch sizing and how it is delivered but not
even getting some reassurance in the form of "sorry guys in attempt to keep
up quality we've delayed the patch because such and such a reason however here
is a list of what we are attempting to fix" it was simply a "no patch
today"

Perhaps you should consider how much people pay for their products and the
frustration they feel when it doesn't operate in the way it was advertised and
how they expected it to be. People are very passionate about the game and the
companies that make the games and people have grown to expect a quality game
from bioware and have been let down in much the same way as people were with
Mass Effect 1. What doesn't help these feelings is that people very much
dislike Electronic Arts and they do have a history of putting out games plagued
with problems and never giving them any support and people are concerned that
it is their fault rather than Bioware’s.



People love games and when they work and are done well people love them more
and when people are let down by a game they love it does leave a bitter taste
in their mouth and I completely understand why and so should you.

The RTO was supposed to be realeased already and i am unable to see it on my downloadable content from my 360. And reading this thread tells me i am not the only one. does anyone have any news on why this is so? or are we just playing the waiting game with bioware?

The official word from chrisboy, is it was delyaed 6 hours from release with no exact reason why. we have had no updates since then.

Basically, someone over there dropped the ball. untill they say otherwise, all we can do is guess.

I just wish there was some confirmation on the status of the patch specifically. If its delayed and coming out with rto then thats fine, i just hope they dont forget about it. when i emailed ea support they mentioned the patch was delayed, but just sent a link to the message about rto being delayed

They should make sure it's done right, as well as the new stuff for march. If the do it right it will make them look better, anyway only a couple of weeks till ME2, then they can take their time to make sure they make any more stuff right.

I know that the dagger-dexterity issue made it to the xbox.  Right now the only way to increase dagger damage is to stack alot of strength or get lethality and stack cunning.  It isn't so bad late game as a cunning rogue, but makes the early game, while boosting strength and dexterity for equipment requirements, very difficult.

BTW Bioware what was the point of the stat tracker on a single player game that had to be checked out of game. Stop trying to be cutting edge, plenty of games have in-game stat trackers and they don't negate you from getting achievements, like yours did.

No official word. It will come out at the same time as Return to Ostagar (which some say will come out late Jan, but again, no set date).

I've stopped playing the game (almost at the end incidentally) due to the corrupted saves problem. If the patch doesn't address this, I'm done with this game, and incidentally, anything else Bioware/EA puts out in the near future. Mass 2 Effect? No thanks...to paraphrase George Bush..."Fool me once, shame on — shame on Bioware/EA. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

So ive been playing this game since it first came out...is there any patches or anything for the x box? I know there are DLC but i only have promo items and shale/drag arm.No corrupt saves for me although other bugs concerning graphics/voice over cant tell if its because of my disc so...would like to see anything new that would help fix anything...anyone have an idea?

Sounds a little illegal to me. Surely bioware cannot get away with making people pay for something that should be free, its not an upgrade after all, its to address problems created by themselves.

It should and imo will be totally seperate to the dlc. Perhaps its delayed because they keep finding more and more problems that need addressing.

I think your insider at microsoft is full of crap mate.

If the game is so riddled with bugs the release should have been pushed back by a few months.

If they are putting two separate items on the XBox Marketplace, how could waiting to put them there at the same time save them any dollars? This makes absolutely no sense unless you are saying you cannot get the patch without getting the DLC. Is that the case?

The patch is separate from the DLC and free, just released on the same date some time in the future (possibly due to how the xbox marketplace works).

lmao i have done four storylines up to just before the ending waiting for this RTO to come available. not so sure how many more runthroughs i can do b4 i get bored with this game X.X

so... wtf? they shut down almost all bioware related websites today for almost 5 hours. thought they were doing some major fixing of the system so we could get to RTO finally. but i go to get into DAO and ofcourse... it STILL isnt registering as available! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!
