Thats about it. You get exactly what is advertised. It all depends on how much its worth to you.
Btw, it took me 4.5 hours to beat it on Insanity.

you see, with so many people "claiming" they are no longer going to buy DLC (because they are angry at Bioware for whatever reason), Bioware has to charge more to get a profit, to make up for lack of sales.
funny thing is, if so many people didn't plague the forums with "Im never buying another product" threads being posted over and over again, Omega probably would have been priced at $10.

Your choices in the DLC do matter, however someone always dies and if you go renegade, be prepared for a surprise that the forum has been crying for.

Highly, highly doubt that. Most likely, they wanted to offset the cost of hiring Carrie-Ann Moss and were banking on the popularity of Omega/Aria to sell the DLC at a higher price.

I do not get to hear Carrie-Ann Moss, playing the German version, should I pay less? LOL

Sadly this is most likely the last title that I'll be buying from Bioware, unless I will read that DA3 or any other future game gets the RPG elements back to high standards. (less action centric, choices that are relevant and matter, non-combat skills, class influence on the story, etc.)

Well, I don't spend money on lunch, so I just thought of it as skipping lunch for three weeks, or something.

If you're look for something deep and meaningful, no this won't be worth it to you. If you're looking for something to run around with Aria blowing stuff up, then it's right up your alley. I don't regret purchasing it, but I can see people having buyer's remorse over it.

Most of the comments I’ve read about it being bad is due to it being to short, buggy, all the auto dialog, no apparent chance to anything in the game and is mostly nothing but combat. To me that sounds like a waste of my money, especially at $15. If I wanted to have 3 or so hours of constant fighting and probably better dialog/story through the people you hear online sometimes, I would play the multiplayer game. Oh yea, its still free. If or when I get Omega it will be during a 50% off sale on X-Box Live Marketplace. I got Leviathan for $5 last week but still haven’t even tried it. Maybe I will one day when the aftertaste of a miserable ending to a trilogy that deserved a lot better than it got.
As for the over pricing, that’s a going to be guess work since EA/BioWare wont likely to give us an official answer

Game product pricing is not based on playtime or game length, just as the admission price for movies is not variable based on how long the movie is or what kind of budget it had. Not to mention that expecting product pricing to be based on how much time you played it is a little ridiculous. There is no way for a publisher to know how long it will take you, specifically, to finish a game product, let alone set their prices accordingly.
DLC pricing is also not based on its size compared to the size of the main game, nor on how long it takes a player to finish is compared to how long it took that same player to finish the main game. Keep in mind that the number of players who purchase DLC remains but a small fraction of the number who purchase the main game.
DLC is, of course, completely optional and is not required to enjoy and complete the main game.
Keep in mind EA/BioWare is charging you for weapon packs to use in the single player game that were free for the multiplayer game. So why not charge more for a download that features a fan favorite character and location? I’d be willing to bet they would charge $15 for Lair of the Shadow Broker if it was new. They know they have you by the short hairs when it comes to what they can charge you for something they know you want.
As for Carrie-Ann Moss being the reason, then everything actors did would be going up in price as well, movies as well as games. Are you willing to pay $100 or more for a game just to cover the fees for the voice cast? Not a chance. That all goes into production costs and shouldn’t affect the price of a download or game. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a good actress but certainly not an “A” list star that would draw in a large group of consumers based on name alone.

This atitude is why things like boycotts(which are a joke) fail. "I'm disapopointed with my purchase, and I will probably not buy anything they release again, except for their next game, and any other game they release that I like."99DP1982 wrote...
It is definitely not worth the money. I bought it only because I want to have my ME collection complete.

I didn't even know Omega was out, but for $15 it looks like it's just about squeezing every last drop from whatever desperate fans remain willing to pony up the cash for their fleecing. It's sad, and it's a sad note to end one of the best new IPs of this cycle, but it's their baby and they can do what they wish with it.
A real shame.

Well I had plans to collect full DA series too, but seeing how DA2 was detached from DA:O and Awakening and it was a horrible experience, it was easy to ditch.
ME3 is last in the series and that's the only thing that made me buy this DLC. Any future ME title will have to be damn good and well received on a few RPG sites/forums (for example gamebanshee) for me to even considering buying it. I was fully aware that it's overpriced and sad quality, but I do like to have full series in my portfolio.

but isnt raising the price for the same amount of content just going to ****** more ppl off? so what the next dlc will be $20?
It is indeed damaging for the consumer relationship, biowares business strategy (through out the entirety of me3) is to release expensive dlc with important story moments to the plot.
There plan seems to be hoping to get a lot of short term revenue and that will hopefully (for them) offset the long term financial and critical problems.

Why would I want to do any of that? That's like diverting all assets to help gang A take out gang B whilst Godzilla is rampaging in the city centre. It is 100% overpriced. However, if you care about Omega, want to spend time working w/ Aria, and would enjoy a cool action story separate from the Reaper conflict, you will enjoy it.
It worked in ME2 (where you spend the entire game waiting for the Collectors to make a move), but it doesn't work when daily casualties are 2 million on Earth alone and there's important work to be done.
