Thanks Weyr. I like the way you put that "and with pen we do our master's bidding." I swear some days my characters are practically shouting at me. Other days I have to bribe them out with wine and chocolate.
And I second Gil, as soon as you post let us know so we can give you a shout out Weyr.

WOOT! I love it! The way you wrote the storm is fantastic. And I love the humor between Zev and Anders. Hehe and that Anders is getting a run for his money with Isabela. ROFL!

Hey, this is good. I've been skipping over the early chapters (not because they are bad but because I've become God baby obsessed). One thing I would say is that I played as an Elven mage, romancing Alistair, and because I knew he couldn't marry an elf and be king, I prevented him from the throne. How romantic. (I was expecting to be able to continue the romance of course.) It is interesting to read your take on the other possibility.
Also, the idea that Aithne is Alistair's "ex" and Morrigan's child is (sort of?) his child is an interesting avenue to explore. Obviously, Alistair is also having a legitimate child too concurrently which higlights the issue. And Alistair is also "illegitimate" himself. Clever.
I do recall hearing Oghren saying "sodding nughumper" this or that, but I don't think its meaning hit home until a nice Dalish elf lady said it (even in battle). Good for effect.
Anyway, up to chapter 12 - with a fair bit of skim reading. So far, you have raised some interesting questions about the God baby and how Wardens should view such a thing. Is it finished at 17 chapters or is there more? (I haven't skipped ahead.)

@ Firky -Chapter 18 should go up today, just waiting for my betas to finish finding all the problems I missed. I don't see the story finishing in less than 30 chapters, so we have a way to go. In chapter 18 Aithne and Zev will finally catch up to Morrigan and the child.
@Hilde- glad you are enjoying it, thanks.

Oh Tanith! I love this so much. The plot thickens. I feel for Ainthe. I don't want to have Morrigan die, or have her kill her. Love how Zev and Anders play with Mei. She is adorable for a God baby.
MOAR please! I hope you dont' mind, but I am putting this same review on FF too. It really needs to be praised everywhere!

Well. Looks like I caught up just in time. When is the next chapter?
To me, the strengths are that Aithne was in love with Alistair and Morrigan's child is his - and all that might entail for the child's fate. And the idea that a vulnerable (to Templars etc) and self-absorbed (because children are) child would bring out previously unseen qualities in Morrigan. You've laid a good foundation for your story.

Apologies for a long delay and a bump for Chapter 19 - now up on FF.net. Life interfered with my writing for a while. I'm hoping not to have any extremely long delays now. I hope to have the next chapter up in March (I'm writing some dialog for the "Hidden Circle" mod that Questorian is hoping to have finished before DA2 comes out - so I'll be concentrating on that for a few more weeks).
@Firky- thank you for your comments - I always love it when someone has specific things they like or dislike about my writing. Apologies for the long delay in replying to you.
@Gil - *HUGS* for all your amazing support.
