I've tried to drink beer I don't know how many times and I still don't like beer, the only thing I like to drink when I do is a good ol Jack daniels whiskey and coke! ^^

It's something you have to develop. I used to not like beer myself. Then I got into it (lighter beers) then a friend introduced me to some high IPAs beers like:

The Bigfoot. This stuff will put hair on your chest. At first, I couldn't handle this (too strong) but then, I was able to develop the taste, and BAM! I'm able to handle High IPAs beers (the good stuff)

Bigfoot is great man, if you have a cool spot and can stand not drinking it, let it sit for a year or two and then drink.

In my quest to find something awesome and local to Denver, I grabbed this one on a whim (ok, I liked the label):

If you like coffee and strong imperial stout, it's amazing. It's still got that deep bitterness at the front that I'm addicted to, but the aftertaste is a nice dark chocolate/espresso flavor, making it easy to drink.

I'm planning on trying out the same Yeti stout, sans the espresso next. :)

Pretty jealous, the Denver area is drowning in craft beer. There is also a Chocolate Yeti, it has cayenne in it but not a lot and it is really good, also chack out Oskar Blues Ten Fidy.

Blue Moon is just about one of the worst examples of a Witbeer.

serious? Well here in America, we enjoy it

I know, I live in the States, the reason it is so popular is Blue Moon is created and owned by Coors and have full access to their distribution chains and marketing dollars, and I get people to drink better Wits all the time. Anyway, the wheat and coriander taste is lower than most, the orange doesn't exist, and yeast strain is wrong, in my opinion. The Boulevard pack should contain a Wit that is far superior.

I'll be sure to try the chocolate one out. I eat cayenne on pretty much everything already, so I'm definitely not afraid. :)

The Oskar Blues sounds great - I looked up the brewery and it's actually located near the area I mountain bike in. Thanks for the recommendation!

Yeah man. I couldn't stand the Bigfoot for over a year (maybe 2) and then I tried it again (after i developed a taste for higher Hops) and oh man, It's good. Same thing happened to my friend, he couldn't handle high hops beer but then he grown to love it.

High Hops beer is the best. They have higher quality ingredients which anyone who enjoys Quality beers knows it's Important.

BTW
you a fan of Boulveard? They have good stuff. Guiness is another good beer (if you like dark beer)

Hoppy beers definitly take some time to mature on the tastebuds, my wife hated them for years but now is her beer of choice. If you are looking for high hop profiles, go for American IPAs. I don't know where you live and what is available to you, but generally everywhere has one.

Everything I've had from Boulevard is good, but unfornately they aren't available where I live.

Yeah, I pretty much won't eat vegetables unless they're doused in habanero or sambal sauce or mixed in with fresh-cut peppers, and I use cayenne powder on just about everything else.

I wonder if there is some sort of a correlation between craving capsaicin from hot peppers and liking bitter, hoppy beer? Probabably has to do with endorphins.

I grow my own Habeneros. My neighbor went a grabbed one and took a bite right into it front of me. I laughed so hard cause he started sweating & moaning then ran into the house.

Greatness

I don't drink beer when playing video games, just when out and about with friends but still, I approve of this thread.
Therefore, here is my choice:

If it's may however, you got to go to Erlangen's Bergkirchweih to get a really good beer:
