people keep saying all is well and all but I was here years ago right when ME2 was obviously being worked on but we had no data about it....and threads like this one would pop up and soon grow to like 5 pages full of "hell yes" answers and the likes

Hell no. Bioware games drop ridiculously fast in price nowadays. It's very disrespectful towards fans that buy early.
The ME3 CE is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. Not only was I ripped off but the crappy case ruined the discs.

PC games can no longer be sold used (as they bind to you Steam/Origin/UPlay account), and from what I hear next Gen consoles are planning something very similar.
This will mean no more used game sales at all, and no more rentals as well.

Honestly, I don't know why people pre-order unless it is too get the collectors edition. ME3 was the first game I ever pre-ordered, and it was only because I was trying to get the collectors edition (unfortunately, they were sold out but I was at the store anyways so I figured why not get the extra guns and armor). I won't be getting the collectors edition of ME4 after what ME3 pulled, and where I am I've never seen a store sell out on standard editions of a game.

No. I won't. I had a habit of buying the collectors editions of game series I loved, now, no more. Collectors Editions are getting crappier and crappier by the year and Preordering Mass Effect 3 was a huge financial mistake. I could have used that money on steam and been so much happier.

Two disappointing games is quite enough, in fact given the way Bioware handled Mass Effect 3 and the ensuing fan reaction, I'm not sure I'll ever purchase a Bioware game again, no matter how good it seems. At least, I certainly won't by it in any way other than from another user (and thus guarantee Bioware doesn't receive any of my money).
