Does it make people feel powerful somehow to loudly announce how uninterested they are in something? Particularly since the inherent irony of the situation is childish in its simplicity?

I REPEAT...compared to a few years back this is just sad

Joking aside, I have often lamented over how this series will be remembered; disappointment at best, a joke otherwise. A year ago we were awaiting the epic conclusion and now, no matter what side you favor in regards to the endings. This controversy is the only legacy Mass Effect leaves. A damn shame.

I meant in the specific about this preorder thread as i remember similar ones from right after ME1 was released.....with overwhelmingly positive responses

Oh, I know what you meant. Just reflecting on the differences, as you put it. Once was overwhelming positives. Now, the exact opposite.

lol how delightfully useless

if you had been here a few months after the release of ME1 you would know why this particular thread is very indicative of how much biowEAre has changed...for the worst

Is this not a discussion forum? People are allowed to express an opinion, even a negative one. There is nothing childish about doing so.

This thread is far more indicative of the foolishness of some of the people here than the foolishness of BioWare.

I don't care if it gets perfect 10s and wins back all the loyalty they lost from the ME3 ending.

I wrote a hand written letter to Bioware saying I would never pre-order one of their products again. Who are we if we don't stick to our word?

If something I made got 75 perfect reviews, I would be proud of it.

I haven't actually seen Bioware "quote" those reviews in defense of ME3 since April.

point is, they were called on it so many times they had to stop....that and the fans did not care

Except they never stated that the fans should like it just because the reviewers did.

They were just grateful for all the good reviews they got. Calm down.

Nope. Been burned way too many times by EA and other companies in the past. I've hardly spent money on Video Games at all as a result. The only games I have/plan on pre ordering this year are: GTA 5 and Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes

Really? Please explain... I'm soo captivated by your smug dismissiveness!

People reacted negatively to ME3... So what!?! What's it to you? Do I think the response overall was constructive? No. I found all this campaigning for a new ending a waste of time and energy and I hated the ending with a passion. I rarely post because of the pro-ender/ending hater trolling wars around here.

I'm gonna protest my displeasure by not buying a single EA game at all nothing more. Their games just don't interest me anymore.

Hell no. Any game made by EA must be rushed and incomplete. So EA, f*ck yourself and dont expect anymore money from me. This franchise is already ruined to me. I am trying to be polite but I just cant due to EA's greediness. F*ck you again EA.

That's why so much effort is put into crafting a "legacy". Endings carry immense significance to people.

If some rich person goes broke nobody remembers their charity just that they squandered their fortune.

LOL good on them, they also used it as damage control, worse, as criticism continued their answer became "now please tell us what you liked about it" as opposed to acknowledging they ****ed up

Positive feedback is just as constructive as negative. If people were as vocal about the things they liked as much as the things they didn't like then Bioware would know not to remove certain aspects for future games. I feel like the ME trilogy suffered a bit because of the lack of that important feedback.

You're trying to antagonize them over things that aren't a big deal in the first place.

Nah, I'm done with pre-orders. Bioware was the only company I did pre-order for, but not anymore.

Anymore, I always avidly read user/fan reviews before I purchase a game.

I didn't pre-order ME3, so I'll have to go with no. Bioware lost their pre-order credit after DA2.
